I am Elentir, a Quenya word meaning «stars watcher». I like to look at the stars, so my ex-libris represents a constellation associated with the north: the Little Bear. I am 44 years old and I was born in the city of Vigo, in Galicia, a land for which I feel a great affection, located in the Northwest of Spain, a Nation of which I am proud. I work as web and graphic designer as a freelance.
I am catholic. I have a special admiration for St. John Paul II and for his homeland, Poland. I consider myself liberal-conservative and right-wing, without complexes. I am not affiliated with any political party, but I am a Vox voter. I fully agree with what Edmund Burke said: «The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing».
I like photography, cinema, music, history, heraldry, vexilology and military and aeronautical issues. I love lighthouses and abandoned places. My favorite writer is J.R.R. Tolkien. I like epic, war, adventure and science fiction movies. I am very eclectic with the music: I usually listen power metal, traditional Galician music, classical music (mainly romantic and impressionist), military music, pop music, etc.
This blog was born in 2004 as a literary pastime. For the title I was inspired by a theme of Los Secretos, but translated into Galician. Although it has the external appearance of a digital newspaper, it is still a personal blog, in which I express my tastes and opinions, with total independence. You can participate in the blog and contribute your opinion through the comments that you find at the end of each entry. You can read here the rules of participation.
