Sobre la talla hay una Luna decreciente y una estrella de David, y la fecha 1331 (desconozco su significado, pero por aquel a\u00f1o la Orden ya hab\u00eda sido disuelta). Adem\u00e1s, el tronco tiene la siguiente inscripci\u00f3n: <em>\"Camino Real de Invierno. V\u00eda Real de Peregrinaci\u00f3n\"<\/em>. Pr\u00f3ximo a Santalla estaba el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2012\/04\/07\/castillo-de-cornatel\/\">Castillo templario de Cornatel<\/a>, en la vecina localidad de Priaranza del Bierzo. Adem\u00e1s, esta v\u00eda de peregrinaci\u00f3n sal\u00eda de Ponferrada, donde precisamente hab\u00eda otro castillo templario. Moreover, this route of pilgrimage out of Ponferrada, where indeed there was another Templar castle.
