This means that gender equality is central to the Government\u2019s priorities<\/strong> \u2013 in decision-making and resource allocation. A feminist government ensures that a gender equality perspective is brought into policy-making on a broad front, both nationally and internationally. Women and men must have the same power to shape society and their own lives. This is a human right and a matter of democracy and justice. Gender equality is also part of the solution to society\u2019s challenges and a matter of course in a modern welfare state \u2013 for justice and economic development.\"<\/em><\/p>\n<p><big>... but yield to the misogynistic impositions of the Iranian dictatorship<\/big><\/p>\n<p>However, <strong>all the women who were part of the delegation, including four ministers, voluntarily covered their heads with veils<\/strong> in their meeting with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, following the Islamic rulces that impose the women to wear her hair covered. We must remember that<strong> in Iran there is a religious police that is dedicated to watch that the women do not go uncovered.<\/strong> The paradox is that the website of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.government.se\/government-policy\/feminist-foreign-policy\/\">the Swedish government has a section entitled \"Feminist foreign policy\"<\/a>, which states the following:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\"<strong>Equality between women and men is a fundamental aim of Swedish foreign policy.<\/strong> Ensuring that women and girls can enjoy their fundamental human rights is both an obligation within the framework of our international commitments, and a prerequisite for reaching Sweden\u2019s broader foreign policy goals on peace, and security and sustainable development.\"<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>But, at the moment of truth, what they do is <strong>bend to a policy clearly discriminatory for women, imposed by an Islamic dictatorship:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/gobierno_suecia_iran_665.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/gobierno_suecia_iran_665-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It is a curious way for the Swedish government to fight for equality between men and women.
