La pel\u00edcula tiene poco de original frente a otras de su g\u00e9nero, y entre ese poco cabe destacar el recurso a la mitolog\u00eda y a la m\u00edstica jud\u00eda, algo que no hab\u00eda visto en ninguna otra cinta de terror. Algunos de los efectos especiales y criaturas que aparecen son dignos de ser rememorados en una horrenda pesadilla, por cierto.
