49% consider 'Antifa' a terrorist group, 30% say no<\/big><\/p>\n Last week, Rasmussen Reports published an opinion poll indicating that most Americans believe that \"Antifa\" is a terrorist organization<\/a>. In total, 49% believe that it is, compared to 30% who believe that it is not<\/strong>, while the rest of the respondents are not sure about it. According to the data<\/a> published by that company, the greatest rejection of \"Antifa\" occurs among voters of the Republican Party (72%)<\/strong>, while among voters of the Democratic Party 41% consider no and 32% say yes. In other words, almost a third of Democratic voters agree with Trump in pointing out \"Antifa\" as terrorist.<\/strong><\/p>\n A majority of blacks and whites believe that 'Antifa' is a terrorist<\/big><\/p>\n The differences between blacks and whites in this regard are milder than some might think: 49% of whites and 45% of blacks consider \"Antifa\" a terrorist group<\/strong>, compared to 31% of whites and 29 % of blacks who deny that \"Antifa\" is terrorist. Among people of other races (Hispanics, Asians, etc.) the rejection towards \"Antifa\" is even greater: 51%.<\/strong> Regarding age ranges, 49% of people between 18 and 39 consider \"Antifa\" a terrorist group, reaching 50% among people between 40 and 64 years old. The percentage among those over 65 drops to 45%. The survey was carried out between June 1 and 2, after several days of serious riots<\/strong> caused by the extreme left in the United States.<\/p>\n The majority do not consider the riots to be a legitimate response<\/big><\/p>\n Likewise, and according to data published by Rasmussen Reports, 49% of those surveyed believe that the riots are not a legitimate reaction<\/strong> after the death of George Floyd at the hands of a Police officer, and they think that criminals have taken advantage of this situation, compared to 40% who consider it a legitimate reaction.<\/strong> One might wonder how much of that 40% would be willing to be harmed by this street terrorism, as many Americans have been harmed. Approving violence and chaos in other neighborhoods is very comfortable and easy (and unsupportive) ... until the violence reaches your community and your home.<\/strong> Then things change.<\/p>\n Trump passes Obama's approval at this stage of his term<\/big><\/p>\n Rasmussen Reports has been publishing a daily president approval rating. Significantly, last Friday, June 5, Trump had a 48% approval rating, one point more than Obama than on that same date in 2012<\/a>, during his first term. On May 25, the date of George Floyd's death, Trump's approval rating was 43%. It fell to 42% on May 27, on the second day of protests. Following the violent incidents<\/strong> and the requests from 15 states to deploy the National Guard<\/a>, which were launched on May 30, on June 1, Trump's approval level was already 47%.<\/strong><\/p>\n Trump achieves an approval rating among blacks unusual for a Republican president<\/big><\/p>\n The details on the approval ratings published by Rasmussen on Friday are even more striking: and it is that Trump achieves a 41% approval rate among the black community<\/a>, something very rare in a Republican president.<\/strong> To give us an idea, in 2016 Trump only obtained 8% of the votes of the black community<\/a>. Keep in mind that for many years the Democratic Party has had a great fishing ground for votes in that community<\/strong>, secured after promoting subsidies in it for decades, a policy that has generated a large captive vote and at the same time has created<\/strong> numerous social problems in those communities<\/a>, by encouraging unemployment.
