What makes me ashamed, as a Spanish, is reading headlines like the following in most of the media in my country:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Abc (center-right): <a href=\"https:\/\/www.abc.es\/internacional\/abci-ultraconservador-andrzej-duda-gana-elecciones-polonia-minima-202007122142_noticia.html\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">\"The <u>ultraconservative<\/u> Andrzej Duda wins the elections in Poland by the minimum\"<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>La Raz\u00f3n (center-right): <a href=\"https:\/\/www.larazon.es\/internacional\/20200712\/qcb55hgoyjgoveme6l356ehvke.html\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">\"Poland reelects the <u>ultra <\/u> Duda by a narrow margin\"<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>El Mundo (center): <a href=\"https:\/\/www.elmundo.es\/internacional\/2020\/07\/12\/5f0b616521efa0ef7b8b469c.html\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">\"Poland divided to the end: the <u>ultraconservative<\/u> Duda wins the presidential elections with 51.2% of the votes\"<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>El Pa\u00eds (left): <a href=\"https:\/\/elpais.com\/internacional\/2020-07-13\/el-ultraconservador-duda-reelegido-presidente-de-polonia.html\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">\"President Duda's victory reinforces the <u>ultra-conservative<\/u> policy of the Polish Government\"<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>P\u00fablico (far-left): <a href=\"https:\/\/www.publico.es\/internacional\/polonia-elecciones-ultraconservador-andrzej-duda-logra-reelegido-polonia-dividida.html\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">\"The <u>ultraconservative<\/u> Andrzej Duda manages to be re-elected in a divided Poland\"<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Eldiario.es (far-left): <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eldiario.es\/internacional\/el-ultraconservador-duda-gana-las-elecciones-presidenciales-en-polonia-con-el-90-del-voto-escrutado_1_6099881.html\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">\"The <u>ultraconservative<\/u> Duda wins the presidential elections in Poland with 90% of the vote counted\"<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Most of the Spanish media have accepted the leftist ideological dogmas to such an extent that <strong>it does not matter whether you are reading a center-right newspaper or one of the far-left: they are titled the same.<\/strong> The most curious thing is that <a href=\"https:\/\/dle.rae.es\/ultraconservador\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\"the word \"ultraconservador\" (ultraconservative) does not even appear in the dictionary of the Royal Spanish Academy<\/a>. They have invented a word like that to stigmatize those who do not submit to progressive dictates. <a href=\"https:\/\/dle.rae.es\/ultra?m=form\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The word \"ultra\" does appear in the dictionary, as a synonym for \"extremist\"<\/a>. Well, <strong>the Law and Justice party is a democratic party<\/strong> that belongs to the Group of European Conservatives and Reformists. <strong>It is not an extremist party: it is a conservative party.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><big>This is how the same media treats a far-left party with a communist candidate<\/big><\/p>\n<p>It so happens that last Sunday regional elections were also held in two Spanish communities: Galicia and the Basque Country. In Galicia, the second most voted party was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bng.gal\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the BNG, a far-left coalition that bears a communist red star on its logo<\/a> and whose candidate, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lavanguardia.com\/politica\/20160922\/41495387279\/ana-ponto-elecciones-gallegas.html\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Ana Pont\u00f3n, belongs to a marxist-leninist party, the UPG.<\/a> In case the readers of this website do not know it, last April <a href=\"https:\/\/upg.gal\/comunicado-lenin\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the UPG celebrated the 150th anniversary of the communist dictator Lenin<\/a>, <strong>committing to \"continue his work\"<\/strong>, which is to start shaking, taking into account <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2020\/04\/22\/lenin-numbers-data-and-images-of-the-crimes-of-the-first-communist-dictator\/\">the criminal terror regime Lenin imposed on Russia<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Let us review what the media that I have referred to earlier have said about the BNG in recent hours:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Abc (center-right): <a href=\"https:\/\/www.abc.es\/elecciones\/elecciones-gallegas\/abci-claves-ascenso-202007131300_noticia.html\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">It published a story about the BNG talking about the \"moderate speech\" of its candidate<\/a>,despite pointing out in the text that Pont\u00f3n belongs to a marxist-leninist party. <strong>Abc never once used terms like \"far-left\" or \"extreme left\" in that story.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>La Raz\u00f3n (center-right): <a href=\"https:\/\/www.larazon.es\/espana\/20200714\/usaj4oykrzbhhbgmd7vws2cizm.html\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">It has also dedicated a story to the BNG calling its members \"sovereignists\"<\/a> (when in reality they are separatists). This newspaper does not speak of the communist ideology of Pont\u00f3n and <strong>calls the BNG \"nationalist left\" (neither \"extrema left\" nor \"far-left\").<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>El Mundo (center): <a href=\"https:\/\/www.elmundo.es\/espana\/2020\/07\/13\/5f0cb3b6fdddff073c8b4643.html\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">It dedicates a story to BNG and his Basque Bildu partners, attributing a \"more moderate image\" to them<\/a>.<strong> Not a single rating of \"extrema left\" or \"far-left\".<\/strong>\n<li>El Pa\u00eds (left): <a href=\"https:\/\/elpais.com\/espana\/2020-07-13\/la-generacion-nacionalista-que-se-canso-de-perder.html\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">It also dedicated a news story to BNG yesterday.<\/a> It speaks of the marxist-leninist character of the UPG, but <strong>does not once use expressions such as \"farleft\" or \"extreme left\".<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>P\u00fablico (far-left): <a href=\"https:\/\/www.publico.es\/politica\/ana-ponton-feminista-resucitado-al-bng.html\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">It dedicates a story to the BNG, hiding the communist ideology of its candidate<\/a>.
