It made its first flight on December 21, 1988. Construction began on a second example that was never completed.<strong> The original plane was restored in 2001<\/strong> after years of neglect after the fall of the USSR.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/51908042469_53a2b050f0_o.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; margin:10px 0 10px 0;\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>During these years, the An-225 has been carrying out all kinds of transport around the world.<\/strong> Equipped with six engines, it had a load capacity of 250 tons.
