When the Russian Army began its invasion of Ukraine on Thursday, February 24, it surely did not imagine the tenacious resistance it would face.<\/p>\n
This Wednesday afternoon some images were released showing the extent to which Russian tanks are facing very complicated tactical situations.<\/strong> The video was posted by the Azov Regiment of the Ukrainian National Guard on its Telegram channel<\/a>, and shows a Russian tank being ambushed by Ukrainian forces.<\/strong> I suppose that the images were recorded in the city of Mariupol<\/strong>, which has been under a strong siege by the Russian Army for two weeks, since the aforementioned Telegram channel belongs to the separate special purpose detachment of said regiment in that city.<\/p>\n The video is very sharp and shows, from a drone view, two missile attacks on the Russian tank<\/strong> in the first 15 seconds. The two collide in the rear of the vehicle. At that moment, the tank reverses but loses the left chain<\/strong>, probably broken due to one of the impacts. After that, the turret receives another hit<\/strong>, apparently from a smaller caliber weapon.<\/p>\n The gunner's<\/strong> (on the left side of the turret) and driver's<\/strong> (in front of the turret) hatches open.<\/strong> At 42 seconds, a new sequence begins (rotated 180\u00ba from the previous one) with a large explosion in the tank<\/strong>, apparently a missile that hit the back of the vehicle. As soon as the smoke from the explosion clears, the driver of the vehicle is seen leaving and fleeing.<\/strong> After a new explosion, the driver is seen crawling on the ground.<\/strong> At the end of the video another Russian tank is also destroyed.<\/p>\n
