{"id":47260,"date":"2022-05-01T21:07:10","date_gmt":"2022-05-01T19:07:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/?p=47260"},"modified":"2022-05-04T20:34:47","modified_gmt":"2022-05-04T18:34:47","slug":"mariupol-a-dramatic-recording-of-the-acts-carried-out-by-the-russian-tanks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2022\/05\/01\/mariupol-a-dramatic-recording-of-the-acts-carried-out-by-the-russian-tanks\/","title":{"rendered":"Mariupol: a dramatic recording of the acts carried out by the Russian tanks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Russian invasion of Ukraine is exposing the invaders' tactics that are increasingly reminiscent of those they used in another war years ago.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><rel><a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2022\/04\/22\/putins-jihad-they-celebrate-the-destruction-of-mariupol-with-cries-of-allah-is-great\/\">Putin's jihad: they celebrate the destruction of Mariupol with cries of \"Allah is great\"<\/a><\/rel><br \/>\n<rel><a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2022\/04\/21\/mariupol-before-the-invasion-seen-by-a-photographer-killed-by-the-russians\/\">Mariupol before the invasion, seen by a photographer killed by the Russians<\/a><\/rel><\/p>\n<p>This Saturday, <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/oko_xx\/13932\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">an Ukrainian Telegram channel<\/a> published a terrible video in which<strong> a Russian T-80BV tank in Mariupol is seen firing its cannon repeatedly at an apartment building, until it is destroyed.<\/strong> In the more than 3 minutes that the video lasts, no shots towards the invaders are seen coming out of the building. The video includes texts indicating that <strong>there were no Ukrainian military in the building, only 16 civilians sheltered in the basement<\/strong>. We can get an idea of the hell they went through by seeing how the building turned out.<\/p>\n<p><strong>At the end of the video, the Russians are seen removing the civilians who survived the brutal attack from the building.<\/strong> A text of the video indicates that the invaders pushed the wounded and elderly from among those survivors, and that it is unknown what fate the survivors have suffered.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"665\" height=\"374\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/BWgcwl7BRnA\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>What we have just seen is not something new in Russian military history. <strong>Something similar was already done in the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan between 1978 and 1989<\/strong>, with brutal attacks on populations, indiscriminate killings of civilians (including children) and destruction of entire villages, under the pretext of ending the mujahideen. <strong>The USSR was accused of crimes of genocide and war crimes in Afghanistan<\/strong>, charges that are not exaggerated considering that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.trtworld.com\/opinion\/thirty-years-on-soviet-crimes-in-afghanistan-must-not-be-forgotten-24238\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the Soviets killed more than a million Afghans<\/a>.
