{"id":47300,"date":"2022-05-06T16:21:02","date_gmt":"2022-05-06T14:21:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/?p=47300"},"modified":"2022-05-08T23:22:51","modified_gmt":"2022-05-08T21:22:51","slug":"new-ukrainian-hit-to-the-russian-navy-attack-on-the-frigate-admiral-makarov","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2022\/05\/06\/new-ukrainian-hit-to-the-russian-navy-attack-on-the-frigate-admiral-makarov\/","title":{"rendered":"New Ukrainian hit to the Russian Navy: attack on the frigate 'Admiral Makarov'"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Russian Navy has suffered a new setback in the Black Sea in recent hours, judging by the information that is circulating on the network.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><rel><a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2022\/04\/18\/the-first-images-of-the-russian-cruiser-moskva-after-the-attack-that-sank-it\/\">The first images of the Russian cruiser Moskva after the attack that sank it<\/a><\/rel><br \/>\n<rel><a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2022\/05\/03\/the-destruction-of-two-russian-patrol-boats-by-a-ukrainian-bayraktar-tb2-drone\/\">The destruction of two Russian patrol boats by a Ukrainian Bayraktar TB2 drone<\/a><\/rel><\/p>\n<p>Last night at 12:57 CET, the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/sentdefender\/status\/1522349841807986688\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">OSINTdefender<\/a> Twitter channel posted the following information: <em>\"There are Unconfirmed reports from some Ukrainian Sources that<strong> the Russian Naval Ship the Admiral Makarov<\/strong> which is a Admiral Grigorovich-Class Frigate operating within the Black Sea <strong>has been struck by Ukrainian Anti-Ship Missiles off the Coast<\/strong>, so far there is no evidence.\"<\/em><\/p>\n<div class=\"foto_piedefoto\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/52054182923_ffc0d8bf2d_o.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto;\" \/><\/div>\n<div class=\"piedefoto\">The Russian frigate \"Admiral Makarov\" (Photo: <a href=\"https:\/\/mezha.media\/en\/2022\/05\/06\/admiral-makarov-burning\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Mezha<\/a>).<\/div>\n<p><strong>The Admiral Makarov frigate was laid down in 2012<\/strong> and launched in 2015, entering service with the Russian Navy in 2017, being assigned to the Black Sea Fleet. <strong>It is the most recent of the three ships of the \"Admiral Grigorovich\" Class that the Russian Navy has, and it is very well armed:<\/strong> it carries a 100 mm cannon, 8 launchers for 3M-54 Kalibr, P-800 Oniks and 3M22 Zircon cruise missiles, 24 launchers for medium-range 3S90M Buk surface-to-air missiles, 8 launchers for short-range 9K38 Igla missiles, two 533 mm torpedo tubes, one RBU-6000 Smerch-2 anti-submarine rocket launcher and two AK-630 rotary anti-aircraft guns 30mm.<\/p>\n<p>This morning, the Ukrainian media <a href=\"https:\/\/dumskaya.net\/news\/u-zmeinogo-gorit-rossiyskiy-fregat-164010\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Dumskaya.net<\/a> has reported that <strong>the frigate would have been hit by a Ukrainian R-360 Neptun anti-ship missile<\/strong>, the same type of weapon with which Ukraine managed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2022\/04\/14\/hard-blow-to-russia-it-loses-the-moskva-cruiser-the-flagship-of-its-black-sea-fleet\/\">to sink the cruiser \"Moskva\" on April 13<\/a>. The Ukrainian media also pointed out the following: <em>\"<strong>The explosion followed by a fire occurred on board the Russian frigate project 11356P of the Burevestnik type<\/strong>, which is located near Zmiiny Island\"<\/em>, the name given in Ukraine to the aforementioned Snake Island.<\/p>\n<p>Dumskaya.net has also posted this <strong>Sentinel Hub satellite image showing a fire on a ship in that area:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/52054113311_4ced4883bf_o.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; margin:10px 0 10px 0;\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Dumskaya.net adds that <em>\"<strong>enemy planes are now circling over this area of the Black Sea<\/strong>, rescue ships have come out to help the ship from Crimea.\"<\/em> In turn, <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/dumskaya_net\/36083\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the Dumskaya Telegram channel<\/a> reported at 11:32 CET: <em>\"<strong>Unofficial Russian sources report that the new missile frigate \u201cAdmiral Makarov\u201d is in trouble.<\/strong> The \u201cAdmiral Makarov\u201d was commissioned in 2017. She is equipped with modern air defense systems and is armed with Caliber cruise missiles. According to preliminary information, <strong>the frigate was unable to dodge the Ukrainian anti-ship missile Neptune. The ship is badly damaged, but remains afloat. For now.<\/strong>\"<\/em><\/p>\n<p>At 11:32 CET, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Liveuamap\/status\/1522507395750146048\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Liveuamap<\/a> posted: <em>\"<strong>Admiral Grigorovich-class frigate of the Russian Navy Black Sea Fleet is reportedly on fire near Zmiiny island in Black Sea.<\/strong> Rescue operation ongoing, multiple aircraft, rescue vessels in the area.\"<\/em><\/p>\n<p>At 13:57 CET, the Twitter channel <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/warinukrain_eth\/status\/1522546061411328002\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">WARinUKRAINE.eth<\/a> has posted three alleged photos of the attacked ship. <strong>In the photo on the right, under these lines, you can see some smoke coming out of the ship:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/52053047902_f979e28885_b.jpg\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/52053047902_f979e28885_b.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; margin:10px 0 10px 0; border:0px;\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This morning at 11:05 CET, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/DefenceU\/status\/1522502745323933696\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the Ukrainian Defense Ministry has added one more ship to its list of Russian naval losses<\/a>, bringing the total to 11.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In the Black Sea, planes from NATO countries have been seen this afternoon.<\/strong> A US Air Force Northrop Grumman RQ-4 Global Hawk reconnaissance drone is circling the area numerous times, flying over international waters, identified as Forte11:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/52054576340_8cf1e6f2bb_b.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; margin:10px 0 10px 0;\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>A British RAF Boeing RC-135W reconnaissance aircraft<\/strong>, identified as RRR7236, has also patrolled the area:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/52053042247_d0cd099e5c_b.jpg\" style=\"width:100%;
