Located in South El Monte, a southern California town<\/strong> founded in 1958. This varied museum brings together a total of <strong>175 vehicles, weapons and other objects<\/strong>, from tanks and self-propelled artillery to other ground military vehicles, as well as a helicopter and a boat, as well as artillery pieces. Among its contents is this <strong>M-47 Patton tank:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/52083558645_f02759ba3d_o.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; margin:10px 0 10px 0;\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You can also see this WWII <strong>M-5A1 Stuart<\/strong> light tank:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/52083082748_ccf0b3b047_b.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; margin:10px 0 10px 0;\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>A Cadillac Gage M-706 Commando<\/strong>, used for police purposes:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/52083082728_09ba49f7ae_b.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; margin:10px 0 10px 0;\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A Marine<strong> M-53 self-propelled howitzer:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/52082030067_1d70a81c61_b.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; margin:10px 0 10px 0;\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And this<strong> M-43 self-propelled howitzer<\/strong>, a model used in the Korean War:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/52083558655_b54deec391_b.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; margin:10px 0 10px 0;\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The museum only opens its doors to the public on weekends (<a href=\"http:\/\/tankland.com\/hours-and-admission\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">you can see the opening hours here<\/a>).
