She has a displacement of 1,200 tons, a length of 57 meters, a beam of 14 meters and a draft of 3.2 meters.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/52153988680_626b6d44cb_o.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; margin:10px 0 10px 0;\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Harpoon missile used in this attack is an anti-ship weapon developed in the 1970s.<\/strong> It can be launched from ground positions, ships, and aircraft. The surface-to-surface versions have a maximum range of 139 kilometers, while <strong>the air-to-surface version can hit targets at 220 kilometers.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/52153730599_e4a0420680_b.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; margin:10px 0 10px 0;\" \/><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.oryxspioenkop.com\/2022\/04\/answering-call-heavy-weaponry-supplied.html\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Denmark has supplied Harpoon launchers and missiles to Ukraine.<\/a> The United States, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom have also announced the shipment of missiles of this type to Ukraine. It seems that they are already in the zone of operations. <strong>The use of these weapons can seriously limit the operability of the Russian Navy in the immediate vicinity of the Ukrainian coast<\/strong>, due to the great range of the Harpoon.
