The British writer has released a screenshot of a message from the same individual in which <strong>he affirms that the author of the assassination attempt against Rushdie is \"a revolutionary\" <\/strong>who followed the fatwa of the last Ayatollah:<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/52282851622_1379ef6753_b.jpg\" style=\"width:661px; height:auto; margin:10px 0 10px 0; border:2px solid #252525;\" \/><\/p>\n<p><big>Twitter refuses to take action against the author of the threat<\/big><\/p>\n<p>As reported yesterday, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/jk_rowling\/status\/1558446312827256832\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Rowling has reported the death threat to the Police<\/a>. The writer also reported the threatening message to Twitter. <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/jk_rowling\/status\/1558531711956385792\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Rowling released this social media response last night<\/a>, which states the following: <em>\"After reviewing the available information, <strong>we determined that there were no violations of the Twitter rules in the content you reported.<\/strong>\"<\/em><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/52282851607_7d940c2a37_b.jpg\" style=\"width:661px; height:auto; margin:10px 0 10px 0; border:2px solid #252525;\" \/><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/jk_rowling\/status\/1558531711956385792\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Rowling has reminded<\/a> that social network what they say <a href=\"https:\/\/help.twitter.com\/en\/rules-and-policies\/twitter-rules\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the Twitter rules<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\"Terrorism\/violent extremism:<strong> You may not threaten <\/strong>or promote terrorism or violent extremism.\"<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\"Violence:<strong> You may not threaten violence against an individual or a group of people.<\/strong> We also prohibit the glorification of violence.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>At the time of this writing, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/meerasifaziz1\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the author of the threat has deleted his account<\/a> without Twitter take any action against him. <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.ph\/IjHkR\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">An automated copy can be seen here.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><big>Twitter also does not suspend the account of the author of the attack on Salman Rushdie<\/big><\/p>\n<p>Twitter's tolerance of these threats is not an isolated thing: <strong>the social network has not even suspended the account of the author of the assassination attempt against Rushdie<\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hmatar286\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">which is still active<\/a>. That individual <strong>is also a supporter of the Islamic regime in Iran<\/strong>, as can be seen in his account. Interestingly, Twitter does maintain a permanent veto on Donald Trump, former US president, despite not having been convicted or even arrested for any crime.<\/p>\n<p><big>The increasingly scandalous ideological bias of Twitter<\/big><\/p>\n<p>For a while now, <strong>we've seen Twitter do things like<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2021\/06\/30\/el-inocuo-mensaje-por-el-que-twitter-acusa-de-incitacion-al-odio-a-un-diputado-de-vox\/\">censoring a deputy<\/a> for stating that \"a man cannot be pregnant\", <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2022\/07\/07\/twitter-blocks-the-account-of-a-deputy-for-a-message-in-which-she-criticized-abortion\/\">block the account of a deputy<\/a> for criticizing abortion, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2022\/04\/30\/twitter-suspende-la-cuenta-del-periodista-mario-noya-por-una-denuncia-fraudulenta\/\">suspend a journalist's account<\/a> for denouncing a campaign of harassment and also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2022\/04\/12\/twitter-bloquea-cuentas-conservadoras-por-reportes-fraudulentos-lo-sabe-y-no-rectifica\/\">block accounts of other users for fraudulent reports<\/a>. Coincidentally,<strong> all the victims of these acts of censorship were users who had expressed opinions that did not conform to the ideological dogmas of the left.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Let us remember that in 2018 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.libertaddigital.com\/ciencia-tecnologia\/internet\/2018-08-20\/twitter-reconoce-su-sesgo-de-izquierdas-mientras-defiende-su-neutralidad-politica-1276623683\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the Californian company itself acknowledged its leftist bias<\/a>.
