Acting once again as a terrorist state, Russia yesterday launched an attack on a railway station in Ukraine,killing unarmed civilians.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Russia claims responsibility for this terrorist attack with which it has killed 25 civilians<\/big><\/p>\n

This time the target was a Chaplyne railway station in Dnipropetrovsk. Russian Defense Minister Igor Konashenkov himself<\/strong>, has admitted today the attack through his Telegram account<\/a>, stating that they did it with Iskander missiles<\/strong> and that they killed 200 Ukrainian soldiers. It is a new Kremlin lie. In reality, the target of the attack was a railway station and a civilian passenger train<\/a>, causing the death of 25 civilians, including two children, and wounding 31<\/a>. It is one more attack that Russian forces have been making against civilian targets: from residential areas to hospitals, including churches, schools and nurseries. Russia uses a strategy of terror against the civilian population<\/strong> after its failure to achieve its military objectives with this invasion.<\/p>\n

Two children are among the fatalities<\/big><\/p>\n

Yesterday Ukrainian President Volod\u00edmir Zelenski noted that an 11-year-old boy was killed when one of the Russian missiles hit his house<\/a>. He also pointed out that five people were burned to death when his car caught fire<\/strong>. Today it became known that one of those five people was a 6-year-old girl<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The European Union and the US want Russia to be held accountable for this massacre<\/big><\/p>\n

This new act of terrorism by Russia has already received condemnation from the international community. The European Union has condemned what it has called \"heinous attack by Russia on civilians\"<\/a>, noting: \"Those responsible for Russian rocket terror will be held accountable.\"<\/em> The United States has noted that this Russian attack on civilians \"fits a pattern of atrocities\"<\/a>, adding: \"We will continue, together with partners from around the world, to stand with Ukraine and seek accountability for Russian officials.\"<\/em><\/p>\n

Seven European countries ask for more sanctions on Russia<\/big><\/p>\n

In turn, this morning, seven countries of the European Union<\/strong> (Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland) called for new sanctions against Russia for its aggression against Ukraine<\/a>, including limiting the issuance of entry visas to Russian tourists.<\/p>\n
