In recent months there has been a lot of talk about a Spanish-made anti-tank weapon that has been sent to Ukraine to help defend it.<\/p>\n

In March, Spain sent Ukraine an undisclosed number of Instalaza Alcot\u00e1n 100 and C-90 rocket launchers, with 1,370 projectiles. The C-90, manufactured by Instalaza in Zaragoza, is a 90 mm caliber rocket launcher that launches a rocket-propelled grenade.<\/strong> Among the ammunition available for this rocket launcher there are grenades for general use, anti-tank, anti-bunker, anti-armor, anti-personnel, smoke or training. Its great advantage is that it is light and can be carried and fired by a single person.<\/strong> It has a range of 350 meters and has a VOSEL optronic firing control device equipped with laser telemetry.<\/p>\n

This week, NATO's eFP Battle Group Latvia has published an interesting series of photos <\/a> taken by 1st Sergeant Jes\u00fas Aguilera and Corporal Mark Wanzel, showing a training session with C-90 rocket launchers and Spike missile launchers at Camp \u0100da\u017ei, Latvia.<\/strong> Spanish, Czech and Italian soldiers participated in the session.<\/p>\n

We can see in this entry the photos of the part of the training session dedicated to the C-90, in charge of the Spanish soldiers<\/strong>. Currently, the Spanish contingent in Latvia is made up of members of the Brigade \"Guzm\u00e1n el Bueno\" X and of the Logistics Support Group No. 21 (AALOG 21).<\/p>\n

Without a doubt, the most impressive of the photos in this series is this image of a C-90 launch, in which the grenade is seen coming out of the tube<\/strong>. Judging by the image, the grenade looks like an armor-piercing C90-CR-RB (M3.5).<\/p>\n
