Communism is a totalitarian movement that has killed more than 100 million people<\/a> and that established more than fifty dictatorships<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A state company run by a friend of Pedro S\u00e1nchez<\/big><\/p>\n

The State Post and Telegraph Society (Correos, the Spanish Mail), a state company controlled by the Spanish government and directed by a friend of Pedro S\u00e1nchez -it was he who placed him in that position-, has announced the launch of a stamp with the hammer and sickle, the symbol of communism<\/a>, to commemorate the centenary of the Communist Party of Spain (PCE). The stamp will be launched on November 14 and 135,000 copies will be printed<\/strong>, with a postal value of 0.75 euros.<\/p>\n

The Correos page on that communist stamp<\/a> reviews the history of the PCE in which it omits its link with the Soviet dictatorship<\/strong> and his involvement in war crimes<\/a> during the Spanish Civil War. Nor does he say anything about his support for dictatorships today. It looks like a PCE propaganda pamphlet.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The PCE: a party that supported Stalin and continues to support dictatorships<\/big><\/p>\n

The PCE was born as the delegation in Spain of the Communist International controlled by the Soviet dictatorship. For years it was the voice of Stalin in Spain<\/strong>, supporting the soviet invasions of Poland<\/a> and Finland<\/a>. The organization was linked to all kinds of atrocities during the Spanish Civil War, where -with the support of Soviet NKVD agents- it managed to turn the Republican zone into a de facto Soviet dictatorship, including supporting a purge against the Trotskyists of the POUM<\/a> in the purest style of Stalin's dictatorship. For years it supported the USSR and the dictatorships of the Soviet bloc<\/strong>, and today it continues to support dictatorships like Cuba<\/a>, communist China<\/a>, Venezuela<\/a> and Nicaragua<\/a>. In 2013, its youth even expressed their \"solidarity\" with North Korea<\/a>, the world's most brutal dictatorship.<\/p>\n

It calls \"friendly organization\" to a group classified as terrorist by the EU<\/big><\/p>\n

The sympathies of the PCE are not limited to dictatorships: in 2019, the PCE called the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) as \"a friendly organization of the Communist Party of Spain\"<\/a>. Let us remember that it has been years since the PFLP is classified as a terrorist organization by the European Union<\/a>, United States<\/a> and Canada<\/a>, for its involvement in terrorist attacks in which members of that group committed murders, including the murder of Israeli minister Rehavam Zeevi<\/a> on October 17, 2001, and the murder of four Israeli civilians<\/a> in a synagogue in Jerusalem on November 18, 2014.<\/p>\n

The EU showed its rejection of the use of totalitarian symbols in the public sphere<\/big><\/p>\n

As of September 2019, the European Parliament condemned the crimes of communism and Nazism<\/a>, recalling that \"the Nazi and communist regimes carried out mass murders, genocide and deportations <\/strong>and caused a loss of life and freedom in the 20th century on a scale unseen in human history\"<\/em>. Likewise, that resolution expressed \"concern at the continued use of symbols of totalitarian regimes in the public sphere and for commercial purposes<\/strong>, and recalls that a number of European countries have banned the use of both Nazi and communist symbols.\"<\/em><\/p>\n

The denialism of the Pedro S\u00e1nchez government on the crimes of communism<\/big><\/p>\n

In March 2021, the opposition brought this condemnation of communism and Nazism to the Spanish Parliament. The Spanish government of Pedro S\u00e1nchez, made up of socialists and communists, voted against that resolution<\/a>, thus refusing to condemn the crimes of genocide committed by the communist dictatorships. It is the same government that now imposes its vision of history under the label of \"democratic memory\", hiding the crimes of the left<\/a>. And if that wasn't enough, the government now issues a communist stamp. This is the last straw.<\/p>\n

An event as serious as it would be to issue a stamp with a Nazi swastika<\/big><\/p>\n

The launch of this communist stamp is as serious an event as if the Correos launched a stamp with a Nazi swastika<\/strong>. After all, communism and Nazism are two totalitarian movements that even became allies (they invaded Poland together) and murdered people on a scale never seen before in all of human history. The president of Correos should be fired immediately for authorizing such a stamp.<\/strong> And if he has received an order to authorize it from the government, he must explain who gave it to him and that person should also be fired. It is intolerable that a public company in a democratic country dedicates itself to making propaganda for a totalitarian movement.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
