The message read: <em>\"<strong>Spanish government, led by Pedro S\u00e1nchez from the Socialist Party, pays homage to communist party and communist ideology<\/strong> with an official postage stamp, to be released Nov 14. <strong>A humiliating insult to millions of past and present victims of communism worldwide.<\/strong>\"<\/em><\/p>\n<div align=\"center\" style=\"margin:20px 0 20px 0;\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Spanish government, led by Pedro S\u00e1nchez from the Socialist Party, pays homage to communist party and communist ideology with an official postage stamp, to be released Nov 14. A humiliating insult to millions of past and present victims of communism worldwide. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/r7m07h6O4d\">pic.twitter.com\/r7m07h6O4d<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Luis del Pino (@ldpsincomplejos) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ldpsincomplejos\/status\/1590623848936136704?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 10, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div>\n<p><big>Izquierda Unida label millions of victims of communism as \"fascists and nazis\"<\/big><\/p>\n<p>Yesterday at noon, the official Twitter account of <strong>Izquierda Unida (IU, United Left)<\/strong>, the electoral brand that the Communist Party of Spain has been using since 1986 and <strong>one of the partners in the coalition government of Pedro S\u00e1nchez<\/strong> -communist minister Alberto Garz\u00f3n is a member of the IU-, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/IzquierdaUnida\/status\/1590669942377959424\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">replied to Luis del Pino mocking his message<\/a> and stating: <em>\"<strong>Don Luis is right, the precious stamp of the #CentenaryPCE must of course be an insult to the fascists and nazis<\/strong> that communism stopped the feet throughout the world, and who worked to bring democracy to our country\"<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/IzquierdaUnida\/status\/1590669942377959424\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/52491932610_3f1ca4a225_b.jpg\" style=\"width:661px; height:auto; margin:10px 0 10px 0; border:2px solid #252525;\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>In other words, Izquierda Unida labels those <em>\"millions of past and present victims of communism around the world\"<\/em> as \"fascists and nazis\"<\/strong>. One more sample of the kind of political, ideological and moral scum that is the Spanish extreme left in general and the communists in particular.<\/p>\n<p><big>A totalitarian movement that has killed more than 100 million people<\/big><\/p>\n<p>Let us remember that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2017\/12\/18\/the-more-than-100-million-deaths-that-communism-caused-divided-by-countries\/\">communism has murdered more than 100 million people<\/a> <strong>even in countries where there were no fascist or nazi parties<\/strong>. The vast majority of these victims were murdered by the communist dictatorships <strong>for the mere fact of defending different political ideas<\/strong> -liberal, conservative, Christian Democrats, socialists and even dissident communists-, <strong>for their religious beliefs<\/strong> -from Christians to Jews to budists and members of other religious confessions-, <strong>and also in colossal famines<\/strong> caused by the communist dictatorships with their disastrous policies and <strong>affecting entire families, including many children.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><big>IU's comment is an insult to the victims and a way to justify those crimes<\/big><\/p>\n<p>As I already pointed out yesterday, in September 2019, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.europarl.europa.eu\/doceo\/document\/TA-9-2019-0021_EN.htmlY\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the European Parliament condemned the crimes of communism and nazism<\/a> noting that <em>\"<strong>the Nazi and communist regimes carried out mass murders, genocide and deportations<\/strong> and caused a loss of life and freedom in the 20th century on a scale unseen in human history.\"<\/em> <strong>Izquierda Unida not only mocks these horrendous crimes but also justifies them by defaming the victims<\/strong> calling them \"fascists and nazis.\" Let us remember that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2021\/03\/26\/spanish-parliament-refuses-to-condemn-the-crimes-of-nazism-and-communism\/\">the extreme left party voted against that European resolution<\/a> when the opposition proposed endorsing it last year in the Spanish Parliament.<\/p>\n<p>That same extreme left that insults the victims of communism <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2022\/10\/21\/spain-a-totalitarian-law-that-hides-the-war-crimes-of-the-left-comes-into-force\/\">wants to impose its biased and false vision of history on us under the label of \"historical memory\"<\/a>, while even today it continues to support to all kinds of dictatorships. <strong>Attitudes like that of Izquierda Unida fill with reason the countries that have outlawed communism.<\/strong> Totalitarian parties like that should not be legal in any democratic country, nor should the nazi parties be. They are the same scum, only the symbols change.<\/p>\n<p><big>The Penal Code punishes this type of behavior with up to 4 years in prison<\/big><\/p>\n<p>Spanish legislation now allows action against messages such as that of Izquierda Unida. Article 510 of the Criminal Code punishes with <strong>one to four years of imprisonment<\/strong> and a fine of six to twelve months for those who <em>\"publicly <strong>deny, seriously trivialize or glorify the crimes of genocide , against humanity<\/strong> or against persons and property protected in the event of armed conflict, or exalt their authors\"<\/em>.
