It was prepared to house MiG-21 fighters, but after the disappearance of the former Yugoslavia, the base was abandoned. What we see here is the input:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/52500863858_8a9f65c69f_c.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; margin:10px 0 10px 0;\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Split Armored Train was built by the Croatian Army in 1991.<\/strong> According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/c\/edostuff\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank \">EdoStuff Aviation<\/a>, the Croatian National Railway Hrvatske \u017deljeznice and the Split Brodosplit Shipyard <em>\"converted two wagons and a diesel locomotive into an armoured train in 1991 from a EMD G26 diesel-electric locomotive and UIC Class G railway wagon with no blueprints since it was a hastily made project.\"<\/em><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/52499822717_c204c45688_c.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; margin:10px 0 10px 0;\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>An image of the interior of one of the armored cars.<\/strong> The train had 6-8mm thick steel plates over a 30-50mm layer of concrete.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/52500785270_ff7af01466_c.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; margin:10px 0 10px 0;\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>One of the two turrets on the armored train.<\/strong> Both were equipped with 12.7mm machine guns. The train never saw combat.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/52500591574_2a7f9d6a28_c.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; margin:10px 0 10px 0;\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>A T-55 tank.<\/strong> It is the most manufactured tank in history, with some 95,000 units.
