Poland had 232 PT-91s prior to these donations..<\/li>\n<li><strong>14 Leopard 2A4.<\/strong> Prior to these donations, Poland had 142 active Leopard 2A4s, which are in the process of being modernized to the Leopard 2PL version..<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"foto_piedefoto\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/52704365952_f9bdfd24f1_b.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto;\" \/><\/div>\n<div class=\"piedefoto\">A Leopard 2A6 of the German Army (Photo: <a href=\"https:\/\/nara.getarchive.net\/media\/a-german-leopard-2a6-tank-fires-at-its-target-during-3f462d\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">NARA\/DVIDS<\/a>).<\/div>\n<p><big>\ud83c\udde9\ud83c\uddea Germany: 118 tanks<\/big><\/p>\n<p><strong>Germany is one of the largest contributors to the multinational plan to ship modern tanks to Ukraine.<\/strong> In addition, an initiative is underway to ship stored tanks as well. The models and quantities are as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>18 Leopard 2A6.<\/strong> Delivery <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GermanyNATO\/status\/1620755549221699584\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">was announced<\/a> on February 1. Germany has 312 Leopard 2A6s and Leopard 2A7s, 104 of them in the process of being upgraded to the Leopard 2A7V version. \/ UPDATED 2\/24\/2023 19:27: <a href=\"\/\/www.elmundo.es\/internacional\/2023\/02\/24\/63f8e183fc6c83e5098b45a0.html\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Germany adds 4 tanks Leopard 2A6 more<\/a>, until reaching 18.<\/li>\n<li><strong>100 Leopard 1A5.<\/strong> This model is no longer in active use in the German Army. These are stored models. They will be supplied directly by German industry, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/europe\/netherlands-denmark-germany-buy-100-leopard-1-tanks-ukraine-dutch-govt-2023-02-07\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">an announcement made on February 7th<\/a>. <strong>Denmark and the Netherlands will contribute to this delivery.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"foto_piedefoto\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/51985067324_64863fce65_b.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto;\" \/><\/div>\n<div class=\"piedefoto\">Czech T-72M1 shipped to Ukraine in April 2022 (Photo: <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/sentdefender\/status\/1511131033902755844\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">OSINTdefender<\/a>).<\/div>\n<p><big>\ud83c\udde8\ud83c\uddff Czech Republic: 107 tanks<\/big><\/p>\n<p>Despite having a small armed forces, <strong>the Czech Republic is by far the country that has sent the most tanks to Ukraine in proportion to its resources<\/strong>. The deliveries already made and those that will be carried out throughout 2023 involve the delivery of all its T-72s to the Ukrainian Army. The models are the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>35 T-71M1.<\/strong> Sent in April 2022, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oryxspioenkop.com\/2022\/07\/bohemian-brotherhood-list-of-czech.html\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Oryxspioenkop.com<\/a>. These are tanks that the Czech Army had in storage. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2022\/12\/21\/the-first-of-the-leopard-2a4-tanks-that-germany-has-delivered-to-the-czech-republic\/\">Germany has contributed to this delivery by donating 15 Leopard 2A4s to Ukraine as compensation.<\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>56 T-72EA Avenger.<\/strong> It is a modernized Czech version of the T-72. The Netherlands has bought 45 of these tanks from the Czech Republic to donate them to Ukraine (Photo: <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/sentdefender\/status\/1511131033902755844\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">OSINTdefender<\/a>).<\/div>\n<p><big>\ud83c\uddf3\ud83c\uddf1 Netherlands: 45 tanks<\/big><\/p>\n<p>As I pointed out at the beginning of the post, the Netherlands was one of the countries that raised the possible delivery of Leopard 2 to Ukraine, but in the end it has been ruled out. <strong>This country contributes to finance the delivery of 100 Leopard 1A5s announced by Germany.<\/strong> In addition, the following must be added:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>45 T-72EA Avenger.<\/strong> It is a modernized Czech version of the T-72. The shipment has been co-financed by the United States and the Netherlands. 11 of them were part of the stock of the Czech company Excalibur Army.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"foto_piedefoto\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/52654879714_9c49f87dd4_o.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto;\" \/><\/div>\n<div class=\"piedefoto\">An American M1A2 Abrams tank (Photo: US Army).<\/div>\n<p><big>\ud83c\uddfa\ud83c\uddf8 United States: 31 tanks<\/big><\/p>\n<p><strong>The United States is one of the countries that has donated the most military material to Ukraine<\/strong>, including missile launchers, artillery, armored vehicles, etc. Regarding the tanks, at the moment only one pending delivery is known:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>31 M1 Abrams.<\/strong> The US Army has more than 2,500 tanks of this type in active service. The delivery of those 31 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.defensenews.com\/pentagon\/2023\/01\/25\/in-reversal-us-to-send-31-abrams-tanks-to-ukraine\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">was announced at the end of January<\/a>, as the US contribution to the plan of several NATO countries to deliver more advanced tanks to Ukraine. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.24ur.com\/novice\/slovenija\/slovenija-bo-v-dogovoru-z-nemcijo-ukrajini-donirala-28-tankov.html\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">announcement<\/a> of their delivery to Ukraine was made in September 2022. <strong>The Slovenian Army had 30 M-55S.<\/strong> Of the two remaining tanks, one has been sent to a museum and the other was sold to Bangladesh.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"foto_piedefoto\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/52705451233_4ba808e5e5_b.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto;\" \/><\/div>\n<div class=\"piedefoto\">A Moroccan T-72 (Photo: <a href=\"https:\/\/flancosur.com\/2012\/09\/18\/t-72-en-marruecos\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Flancosur.com<\/a>).<\/div>\n<p><big>\ud83c\uddf2\ud83c\udde6 Morocco: 20 tanks<\/big><\/p>\n<p>Morocco has been the only African country that has sent tanks to Ukraine to help its defense. Here's what's known about shipping:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>20 T-72B.<\/strong> These are tanks modernized in the Czech Republic by the company Excalibur Army with funds from the US and the Netherlands, as announced <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menadefense.net\/afnord\/le-maroc-offre-ses-chars-a-lukraine\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Menadefense.net<\/a> on January 22. The Royal Moroccan Army had 148 T-72s (136 T-72B and 12 T-72BK), purchased from the Belarusian Army in 1999 and 2000.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"foto_piedefoto\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/52024906319_27eaf84c2b_b.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto;\" \/><\/div>\n<div class=\"piedefoto\">A British Challenger 2 (Photo: British Army).<\/div>\n<p><big>\ud83c\uddec\ud83c\udde7 United Kingdom: 14 tanks<\/big><\/p>\n<p><strong>The United Kingdom is also among the countries that have donated the most military equipment to Ukraine.<\/strong> In mid-January, the British government was among the first to join the multinational plan to send more modern tanks to Ukraine, specifically the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>14 Challenger 2.<\/strong> The British government <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/europe\/uk-has-ambition-send-tanks-ukraine-pm-sunak-tells-zelenskiy-2023-01-14\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">announced<\/a> this shipment on January 15th. Likewise, it is one of the few countries that have joined the multinational plan to deliver modern tanks to Ukraine. These are the data:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>10 Leopard 2A4.<\/strong> The initial number of 6 tanks <a href=\"https:\/\/efe.com\/espana\/2023-02-22\/carros-combate-leopard-espana-ucrania\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">was confirmed on February 22<\/a> by the government agency Efe. On February 23, Pedro S\u00e1nchez <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/el_pais\/status\/1628756766539542528\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">announced<\/a> that there will be 10 tanks. These tanks come from a batch of 53 that are stored in Zaragoza. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2023\/01\/25\/the-amazing-recovery-of-20-spanish-leopard-2a4-that-are-stored-in-zaragoza\/\">A month ago the Spanish government leaked the shipment of 20 tanks<\/a> to a related newspaper, but finally that number has been cut in half. These are the data:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>8 Leopard 2A4NO.<\/strong> The <a href=\"https:\/\/kyivindependent.com\/news-feed\/norway-to-send-8-leopard-2-tanks-to-ukraine\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">announcement<\/a> of this shipment was made on February 14th. Currently, this country only has 36 such tanks. These are the data:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>8 T-72A.<\/strong> The shipment of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.armyrecognition.com\/defense_news_july_2022_global_security_army_industry\/north_macedonia_donates_its_t-72_main_battle_tanks_to_ukraine_in_echange_of_western_tanks.html?utm_content=cmp-true\" rel=\"noopener\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank>in July target=\"_blank> from 2022. It has also joined the multinational plan to send modern tanks:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>4 Leopard 2A4.<\/strong> The <a href=\"https:\/\/gagadget.com\/es\/war\/210914-ya-es-oficial-canada-transferira-4-tanques-leopard-2-a-ucrania\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">announcement<\/a> if it was sent on January 26th. It has also joined the international coalition to deliver modern tanks to the Ukrainian Army:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>3 Leopard 2A4.<\/strong> Finland <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/europe\/finland-send-three-leopard-tanks-ukraine-2023-02-23\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> announced<\/a> the shipment of 3 tanks on February 23, and a month later <a href=\"https:\/\/kyivindependent.com\/finland-to-give-3-leopard-2-tanks-to-ukraine\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">announced<\/a> sending three more. Finland has 139 Leopard 2A4s and 100 Leopard 2A6s.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"foto_piedefoto\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/52704416427_226668e2d8_b.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto;\" \/><\/div>\n<div class=\"piedefoto\">Two Leopard 2A6 of the Portuguese Army.<\/div>\n<p><big>\ud83c\uddf5\ud83c\uddf9 Portugal: 3 tanls<\/big><\/p>\n<p>Despite being the last country on this list, it must be said that <strong>Portugal is making a very notable contribution to shipments of military material to Ukraine in proportion to its modest resources.<\/strong> Data on its shipment of tanks are as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>3 Leopard 2A6.<\/strong> Portugal is the only country, along with Germany, that is going to send copies of this version of the Leopard 2, one of the most modern. The <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/defesa_pt\/status\/1623409481693405187\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">announcement<\/a> of its shipment was made on February 8.
