For years I have been following the audiovisual content of the Finnish Puolustusvoimat (Defense Forces) with interest, due to its high quality.<\/p>\n
During the last year, the videos published by the Puolustusvoimat on their YouTube channel<\/a> were have become especially relevant, after Russian threats against that Nordic country<\/a> the day after the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Threats that have resulted in the process of integrating Finland into NATO<\/strong>. An unusual fact for a traditionally neutral country, but one that has been pushed into by a Russia that does not respect the borders of its neighboring countries. The solitude in which neutral Finland found itself has led it to value very much the luck of having good allies<\/strong>, a luck that in many NATO countries is often underestimated, paradoxically in the midst of the tranquility guaranteed by belonging to the Atlantic Alliance.<\/p>\n An example of how Finland values its new allies is the video published today by the Puolustusvoimat as a summary of the year 2022<\/strong>. A video that shows the excellent work that the Finnish Combat Camera (COMCAM) does, but that this year significantly includes military forces from other countries<\/strong>, specifically the United States, the United Kingdom and Sweden:<\/p>\n
