The world's largest totalitarian regime, the Chinese communist dictatorship, seems bent on imitating the bullying of its ally Vladimir Putin.<\/p>\n
The communist dictatorship of Beijing militarily besieges Taiwan<\/big><\/p>\n This Saturday, the official news agency of that communist dictatorship, Xinhua, published a delusional statement<\/a> announcing a \"combat readiness patrol and military exercises around the Taiwan Island<\/strong>\"<\/em>, specifically \"off the northern and southern coasts of the island, and to the island's east\"<\/em>, from April 8 to 10. The note adds the following: \"These operations serve as a stern warning against the collusion between separatist forces seeking \"Taiwan independence\"<\/strong> and external forces and against their provocative activities.\"<\/em><\/p>\n The illegitimate regime in China is the one in Beijing, not the one in Taipei<\/big><\/p>\n This nonsense of the Chinese communist dictatorship would be even comical if it were not for the fact that it were not an intolerable threat to a free, democratic and sovereign country such as the Republic of China<\/strong>, also known as Taiwan, which was one of the founding countries of the UN in 1945<\/a>. The Republic of China was established in 1912.<\/p>\n In 1927, the Chinese Communist Party launched a military uprising<\/strong> to seize power in the country. In 1949 the civil war ended with the victory of the communists in mainland China, where they established a totalitarian regime that still continues<\/strong>, while the nationalists continued the Republic of China in the islands of Taiwan, Penghu, Quemoy, Matsu, Pratas and Taiping.<\/p>\n Today the Republic of China (Taiwan) is a multiparty democracy<\/strong>, in which there is political freedom and religious freedom, something that does not exist in communist China. Taiwan, free China, has been a sovereign country and has had its own army since 1949. If there is an illegitimate regime in China, it is the communist dictatorship that has its headquarters in Beijing<\/strong>, and not the democracy that has its headquarters in Taipei.<\/p>\n Taiwan has never been under the rule of that communist dictatorship<\/big><\/p>\n The terms used by the Beijing regime and its claims to Taiwan are as absurd and illegitimate as if communist Germany called the democrats of free Germany \"separatists\"<\/strong>, during the time when that country It was divided into two halves. It must also be said that the communist regime in Beijing has never exercised any control over Taiwan.<\/strong> This island was under Japanese rule from 1895 to 1945, when Japan was defeated in World War II. The Japanese handed over the island to the Republic of China<\/strong>, four years before the end of the Chinese Civil War.<\/p>\n The serious responsibility of the UN in this situation<\/big><\/p>\n We must not forget that one of the main culprits for communist China continuing to threaten Taiwan is the UN<\/strong>, which expelled Taiwan in 1971<\/a> and admitted communist China . More than half a century has passed since that decision and the Beijing regime continues to violate the human rights that the UN theoretically defends<\/strong>, and communist China is not only not expelled from the organization, but is also a member permanent member of the UN Security Council.<\/p>\n The responsibility of the US and other democratic countries<\/big><\/p>\n For this unfair situation many democratic countries are also partly responsible<\/strong>, which have decided to maintain relations with communist China, for which the latter demands that they break them with Taiwan, a blackmail to which many countries have yielded turning its back on a democracy and embracing a totalitarian regime<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
