The use of disinformation as a weapon by Russia and its propagandists leaves for some really funny moments.<\/p>\n

The Russian aircraft carrier Admiral Kuznetsov and its strange series of unfortunate events<\/a><\/rel>
\nSpain deploys an important Aeronaval Group after the passage of a Russian frigate<\/a><\/rel><\/p>\n

One of them took place this week, when Twitter user @lorena3afrodita<\/a> (her account has suspended in the last few hours) posted a misspelled message, stating: \"Russian federation aircraft carrier enters Black Sea to help end special military operation<\/strong>\"<\/em>. Along with this text, the user attached an image that many Spaniards will find familiar. Here is a screenshot of that message posted by @veerhoen<\/a>:<\/p>\n

It is obviously the Spanish aircraft carrier \"Pr\u00edncipe de Asturias\" R-11<\/strong>, in an old photo published by the Spanish Navy website<\/a> in 2013. On December 14 of that year, the ship was withdrawn from service. Finally, was scrapped in 2018 <\/a>. Surely, that user confused the R-11 with the Russian aircraft carrier Admiral Kuznetsov<\/a>, which could not access the Black Sea either due to the limitations established by the Montreux Convention, administered by Turkey, which controls access to the Sea Black from the Mediterranean Sea.<\/p>\n

Although the Twitter account of that Russian propagandist is no longer available, here you can read the answers that other users gave him<\/a>, both Spanish and from other countries, dismantling that hoax. Let's hope that now the Russian propagandists do not intend to appropriate the also missing aircraft carrier \"Daedalus\"...<\/strong><\/p>\n
