The ship carries on board the 167 who are part of its permanent crew and 74 midshipmen from the third year of the Naval Military School (ENM), belonging to the 425th promotion of the General Corps of the Navy and the 155th promotion of the Marine Infantry Corps.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Their journey began on January 14 in C\u00e1diz<\/strong> and has taken them to Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), Buenos Aires (Argentina), Punta Arenas (Chile), El Callao (Peru ), Cartagena de Indias (Colombia), Puerto Lim\u00f3n (Costa Rica), Pensacola (USA) and finally to New York (USA), the foreign city that this ship has visited the most times, a total of 32. <strong>Their next port of call will be the Naval Military School in Mar\u00edn<\/strong>, where the midshipmen will disembark, and the ship will then return to its base in C\u00e1diz on July 21.<\/p>\n<p>During this stopover in New York, <strong>a flag pledge for Spaniards residing in the US<\/strong> will be taken, which will take place this Friday, according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.exteriores.gob.es\/Consulados\/nuevayork\/es\/Comunicacion\/Noticias\/Paginas\/Articulos\/Juras-de-Bandera-en-el-Juan-Sebasti%C3%A1n-Elcano.aspx\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Consulate of Spain in New York<\/a> on April 26.
