The UK is home to such famous bears as Paddington and Winnie the Pooh and the retirement home of the Polish warrior bear Wojtek.<\/p>\n

Ted Coningsby: the teddy bear who managed to fly in a Eurofighter and with the Red Arrows<\/a><\/rel>

So, it is not uncommon for a bear to slip into important ceremonies in that country. Or even two bears. Let's see an example: last Saturday it was celebrated in London a spectacular air parade with 70 aircraft<\/a>, to celebrate the birthday of King Charles III.<\/p>\n

As we can see in these two photos posted by the RAF<\/a>, the Red Arrows took part in the parade as well as three Spitfires and a Lancaster bomber<\/strong> from World War II, among other aircraft. All aircraft flew over Buckingham Palace.<\/p>\n

Among the participating aircraft were 22 Typhoon fighters<\/strong>, 18 of which formed the initials \"CR\" (for \"Carolus Rex\", Latin for Charles King) during the parade. One of those fighters was the two-seater ZK381<\/strong> that we see in this image. As Ted Coningsby<\/a> pointed out today, this aircraft has become < strong>the first four-seat Typhoon fighter.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Last year I already spoke to you here about Ted Coningsby, a teddy bear who has flown in a Eurofighter fighter and with the famous Red Arrows<\/a> of the British Royal Air Force (RAF). Ted is a big fan of airplanes, and apparently this bear has a lot of influence in the RAF, because Ted was in that fighter with another bear<\/strong> (in addition to the two human crew, of course: in the RAF they still don't let bears fly alone, but time to time).
