According to eyewitnesses, the attack was launched from behind, i.e. <strong >was launched by the RF [Russian Federation] Ministry of Defense servicemen<\/strong>\"<\/em>. The message was accompanied by a video showing images of the damage caused by that attack in a Wagner camp. Recall that last year, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/world\/2022\/12\/23\/russia-troops-wagner-convicts-ukraine\/https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/world\/2022\/12\/23\/russia-troops-wagner-convicts-ukraine\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Wagner recruited 40,000 criminals from Russian prisons<\/a> to fight in Ukraine, a desperate recourse of the Kremlin in view of the numerous casualties suffered by its troops in this invasion. In February, senior US officials said that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/world-europe-64685428\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">30,000 Wagner mercenaries had been killed in Ukraine<\/a>. Most of those casualties are criminals recruited from Russian prisons.<\/p>\n<p>The high number of casualties among his mercenaries has led Prigozhin to increasingly criticize the direction of the invasion by the Russian government. A month and a half ago, <a href=\"https:\/\/es.euronews.com\/2023\/05\/09\/el-jefe-del-grupo-wagner-denuncia-haber-recibido-una-decima-parte-de-las-municiones-promet\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Wagner's chief denounced having received only a tenth of the promised ammunition<\/a> <strong>and accused the Russian military leadership of deceiving Putin<\/strong>, stating that <em>\"everything is being done to make the front collapse.\"<\/em><\/p>\n<p><big>Wagner's military power: he has 50,000 mercenaries in Ukraine alone<\/big><\/p>\n<p>At the end of May, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.euronews.com\/2023\/05\/30\/wagner-boss-denies-group-could-stage-coup-isw\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\" _blank\">accusations began to circulate against Prigozhin of wanting to stage a coup in Russia<\/a>, <strong>which Wagner's boss denied, claiming he did not have the necessary personnel to overthrow the Kremlin.<\/strong> Something that would be questionable, not only because Prigozhin has assembled a private army of considerable size: he went from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.svoboda.org\/a\/29084090.html\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">only 250 mercenaries in 2014<\/a> a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.defenseone.com\/threats\/2022\/12\/the-d-brief-december-22-2022\/381241\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">more than 50,000 by the end of 2022<\/a>, and that's just counting their forces deployed in Ukraine, to which must be added Wagner's mercenary groups in Syria and various African countries.<\/p>\n<p><big>A fight between the criminal leaders that surround Putin<\/big><\/p>\n<p>It should be noted that this coup is far from being a move with hopes of democratizing Russia. <a href=\"\">Wagner mercenaries have committed atrocities against Ukrainian prisoners of war<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2023\/04\/18\/russian-mercenaries-confess-the-murder-of-ukrainian-children-following-orders\/\">also against the civilian population, including children<\/a>, and they did so following express orders from the head of that group of mercenaries, which is why <a href=\"https:\/\/www.europarl.europa.eu\/news\/es\/press-room\/20221118IPR55707\/el-parlamento-europeo-senala-a-rusia-como-estado-promotor-del-terrorismo\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">last year the European Parliament classified Wagner as a terrorist group<\/a>, an accusation that it also leveled against Kadirov's militiamen, the dictator of Chechnya (very loyal to Putin), and other armed groups, militias and representatives financed by Russia.<\/p>\n<p>What started yesterday is <strong>a fight between criminals<\/strong>. The only good thing that could come out of this situation is that Russia is so weakened that the Putin regime collapses and the Russians have to withdraw from Ukraine.
