On the night of June 23 to 24, Galicia celebrates the traditional bonfires of Saint John, which welcome summer.<\/p>\n

This year I was able to take some long exposure photos of Vigo's beaches during this celebration. Here we see Samil beach, the most famous in the city<\/strong> and the busiest tonight.<\/p>\n

Here is an enlargement of the photo. The beach was crowded with people.<\/strong> Parking in the entire area of the beach was an impossible mission.<\/p>\n

Here we see Vao beach<\/strong>, in the parish of Corujo. I was calmer. The Moon appears in the image over the island of Toralla.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

And here my favourite, the Little Mermaid beach<\/strong>, also known as Fonta\u00ed\u00f1a beach. There were only two small fires and a very pleasant peace reigned.<\/p>\n
