The results of the general elections<\/a> in Spain draw a very difficult horizon for our Nation.<\/p>\n

Counting Stars turns 19 with the same freedom and without any subvention<\/a><\/rel>
\nCounting Stars and credibility<\/a><\/rel><\/p>\n

Of the three possible scenarios that I pointed out yesterday<\/a> for after those elections, the worst has finally come true. It is even possible that Pedro S\u00e1nchez will continue in power. Many Spaniards are naturally worried about what lies ahead.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As you know, I am not affiliated with any political party and one of the maxims of this blog is independence. But independence does not mean neutrality.<\/strong> I am not nor do I want to be neutral when practically all of the major media in Spain are clearly partisan and are committed to political options that are degrading our society. Counting Stars appeared in 2004, ten years before Vox<\/strong>, and from the very foundation of that party I have been supporting it, simply because Vox has been defending my ideas ever since it appeared.<\/p>\n

I have always had a relationship of total freedom with that party. I do not owe Vox any favors<\/strong> (since this website is supported by my money and my work, without receiving or requesting subsidies or aid from any organization or company) and Vox owes me nothing<\/strong>, because I am not like certain communicators who lend a hand to a party and then pass the bill on it. If I have been supporting Vox, it is because I defended what I consider good and fair.<\/strong> I defended it and continues to defend it, and for this I feel tremendously grateful to the members of Vox.<\/p>\n

From that healthy relationship of freedom, Counting Stars has supported Vox when there was almost no media outlet to give it that support<\/strong>. This is how it has been in the desert journey that Vox has made for four years, until finally getting representation in 2018. Vox has been making news here when many other media outlets hid everything related to that party.<\/strong> If I did it like this, firstly, it is because I wanted to, and secondly because another of the characteristics of this blog is telling what others want to hide<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

As I have said many times, my support for Vox is conditional: I will continue to give it as long as Vox remains faithful to its principles<\/strong>. There is nothing that makes me think that Vox has betrayed those principles, so from my point of view, Vox having fewer seats does not change anything. So Counting Stars will continue to support Vox because it continues to be the last hope of many of us who defend Spain and Liberty<\/strong>, of those of us who defend life from conception, the family, freedom of education, linguistic freedom and other banners that the Popular Party has abandoned and betrayed.<\/p>\n

If another crossing of the desert arrives, Counting Stars will try to be like that little oasis in which to shelter<\/strong> in the midst of desolation, the same as I tried to be years ago, when Vox had no representation. Here it will continue to receive the encouragement it lacks in other media.<\/strong> Here it will continue to have a friendly voice in the midst of a media landscape full of hostile and insulting voices.<\/p>\n

I would like this website to have a larger audience so that I can counterpoint all the attacks, slander, hoaxes and lies<\/strong> that the media launches against Vox, but this is as far as I can get with the time and resources I have. As long as God gives me life and health, I will continue here<\/strong>, without renouncing my principles or changing them for the favor of any ruler. You are less comfortable outdoors but you enjoy much more freedom.<\/strong><\/p>\n
