{"id":52577,"date":"2023-07-31T22:07:12","date_gmt":"2023-07-31T20:07:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/?p=52577"},"modified":"2024-07-31T00:59:08","modified_gmt":"2024-07-30T22:59:08","slug":"special-operations-units-from-chile-spain-and-the-united-states-in-joint-training","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2023\/07\/31\/special-operations-units-from-chile-spain-and-the-united-states-in-joint-training\/","title":{"rendered":"Special operations units from Chile, Spain and the United States in joint training"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>From July 24 to August 10, Chile is the scene of an important international training of special operations.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><rel><a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2023\/07\/23\/these-are-the-soldiers-and-the-training-of-the-fgne-the-elite-unit-of-the-spanish-navy\/\">These are the soldiers and the training of the FGNE, the elite unit of the Spanish Navy<\/a><\/rel><br \/>\n<rel><a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2023\/07\/12\/the-training-of-the-green-berets-of-the-armies-of-spain-and-the-us-in-alicante\/\">The training of the 'green berets' of the Armies of Spain and the US in Alicante<\/a><\/rel><\/p>\n<p>This exercise brings together <strong>more than 1,700 soldiers from special operations units from Chile, Spain and the United States<\/strong>. In the case of the host country, the exercise served as the basis for the formation of a Joint Special Operations Command to coordinate the different elite units of the Army (<strong>Lautaro Special Operations Brigade<\/strong>), the Navy (<strong>Special Forces Command<\/strong>, COMFUES) and the Air Force (<strong>Special Forces Group<\/strong>) of that country.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/emad.defensa.gob.es\/prensa\/noticias\/2023\/07\/Listado\/230727-ni-mcoe-estrella-austral.html\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">As reported by EMAD<\/a>, Spain is represented by the <strong>Joint Special Operations Command<\/strong> (MCOE) and by the three special operations forces of the Armed Forces: the <strong>Operations Command Special Forces <\/strong> (MOE) of the Army, the <strong>Parachute Sappers Squadron<\/strong> (EZAPAC) of the Air Force and the <strong>Special Naval Warfare Force<\/strong> (FGNE) of the Navy. In turn, the US sends troops under its Joint Special Operations Command (USSOCOM).
