The prosecutor has indicated that <em> \"part of this money was used by Nicol\u00e1s Petro and his partner for his personal benefit and <strong> another part of these were invested in the presidential campaign<\/strong>.\"<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Today it has been known that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.semana.com\/nacion\/articulo\/urgente-fiscalia-revela-impresionante-cuadro-de-27-personas-que-estuvieron-relacionadas-con-conseguir-recursos-y-estan-vinculadas-con-nicolas-petro-y-day-vasquez-aparece-veronica-alcocer\/202300\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the Colombian Prosecutor's Office investigates a plot involving 27 people linked to this illegal financing<\/a>, <strong>among them Gustavo Petro's wife, Ver\u00f3nica Alcocer<\/strong>. The events have caused a great upheaval among the people and the political class of Colombia, but they also have repercussions beyond its borders, specifically in Spain.<\/p>\n<p>Let us remember that <strong>three months ago, Gustado Petro visited Spain<\/strong> and delivered a speech before the Congress of Deputies.
