A call in Madrid of a group that celebrated the Hamas terrorist attack<\/big><\/p>\n

This Sunday, the government has authorized a demonstration in Madrid called, among others, by Samidoun<\/a>, an antisemitic group whose activities have been banned in Germany for celebrating the Hamas terrorist attack against Israel<\/a> on October 7. Specifically, and according to the German media RBB24.de, last Saturday Samidoun distributed sweets in Berlin to celebrate that terrorist attack<\/a>. These events have caused great indignation in Germany and have led the government to ban the group's activity.<\/p>\n

Samidoun supported the Hamas terrorist attack and seeks the disappearance of Israel<\/big><\/p>\n

In Spain, a week ago, the Spanish delegation of Samidoun published a statement on Instagram<\/a> openly supporting the terrorist attack by Hamas:<\/strong> \"We call for massive assistance in support of the brave and dignified Palestinian resistance that today has proven to be more alive and willing to recover the territory that has been taken from them by the Israeli colonialism for more than 75 years.\"<\/em> The statement ended by supporting \"the right of the Palestinian people to defend themselves by all means<\/strong> at their disposal from extermination until liberation and return to a Palestine free from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea<\/strong>.\"<\/em><\/p>\n

This last reference is an anti-Semitic slogan that intends the disappearance of the State of Israel<\/strong>, an old aspiration of Palestinian terrorism. In fact, in the posters spread by Samidoun Israel is erased from the map<\/a>: it only appears a black silhouette called \"Palestine\"<\/strong>, but which in reality corresponds to the current State of Israel and the Palestinian territories of Gaza and the West Bank.<\/p>\n

The Spanish delegation of Samidoun supported the celebrations for the Hamas terrorist attack<\/big><\/p>\n

A week ago, on his Instagram account, Samidoun published a second note celebrating the Hamas terrorist attack<\/a>. Along with a photo of the celebrations of that attack, the text stated: \"The new path undertaken by the Palestinian people towards liberation and return is a source of pride for all the Palestinian people<\/strong> in the Occupied Palestine and in the Diaspora, but also for all internationalist peoples. These scenes of celebrations underline that the Palestinian people reaffirm their clear rejection of colonization and occupation<\/strong>, as well as the entire Oslo process and normalization with the occupying power.\"<\/em><\/p>\n

They warn of Samidoun's links with the PFLP terrorist group<\/big><\/p>\n

In March 2021, the Jewish organization ACOM pointed out Samidoun's links with the Palestinian terrorist group PFLP<\/a> (Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine): \"A prominent element in the infrastructure of the PFLP in Spain is the NGO \u201cSamidoun-Palestinian Network of Solidarity with Prisoners\u201d. This organization was declared by Israel on February 21, 2021 as an arm of the PFLP<\/strong>.\"<\/em><\/p>\n

ACOM warned: \"Representatives of the organization, both in Spain and in other non-Arabic speaking countries, often hide their affiliation with the PFLP.<\/strong> This is due not only to the fact that the PFLP is recognized as a terrorist group in many Western countries, but it facilitates the training and access of its operatives<\/strong> to interact with the public administration and civil society organizations.\"<\/em> ACOM adds that a Despite this, \"Samidoun's activities over the years, both online and physical events, frequently include PFLP members and public displays of flags and banners<\/strong>.\"<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

As we saw a few days ago, the PFLP has links with the Communist Party of Spain (PCE)<\/a>, a party to which two ministers of Pedro S\u00e1nchez:<\/strong> the second vice president and Minister of Labor Yolanda D\u00edaz and the Minister of Consumption Alberto Garz\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Three of S\u00e1nchez's ministers support a demonstration for Samidoun<\/big><\/p>\n

Today, Minister of Social Rights Ione Belarra<\/a> (of Podemos) and Minister Garz\u00f3n have spread Samidoun posters<\/a> show their support for a demonstration called for this afternoon in Madrid for that antisemitic group. The posters spread by the ministers erase Israel from the map<\/strong> and assign all its territory to \"Palestine\", in line with Samidoun's antisemitic messages.<\/p>\n

Podemos<\/strong>, the far-left party that is part of the coalition government led by Pedro S\u00e1nchez, has also published that antisemitic poster on its official Twitter account<\/a>:<\/p>\n

Likewise, Vice President Yolanda D\u00edaz has released a poster of this call published by Sumar<\/a>, her current electoral mark, which does not indicate who the conveners are<\/strong>, but which coincides with the time and place of the Samidoun call:<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

A fact of enormous gravity that leaves S\u00e1nchez in question<\/big><\/p>\n

It is the first time in 45 years of democracy that members of the Spanish government support an antisemitic demonstration<\/strong>, whose organizers bluntly intend the disappearance of a country that maintains diplomatic relations with Spain. The support of these ministers for this antisemitic call is a fact of enormous seriousness and could cause an international incident<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This support from several ministers for such an infamous call contrasts with the message published yesterday by Pedro S\u00e1nchez condemning the Hamas terrorist attack<\/a>, and stating that \"so much suffering has been generated, it will only be resolved when the two states, Israel and Palestine, are recognized so that they can coexist in peace.\"<\/em> It is difficult to believe him while members of his government support the call of an anti-Semitic group that celebrated the Hamas terrorist attack<\/strong> and that seeks the disappearance of Israel. These ministers should not continue another day in their positions. Sanchez's government has become the shame of the European Union.<\/strong><\/p>\n
