The cynicism of Pedro S\u00e1nchez's government reached an extreme this Wednesday that is very difficult to overcome, although everything is possible for the socialists.<\/p>\n
The European Commissioner for Justice demands a \"detailed\" explanation<\/big><\/p>\n Yesterday it became known that the European Commissioner for Justice, Didier Reynders, has requested a \"detailed\" explanation to the Spanish government about the amnesty<\/a> for those convicted of the 2017 separatist coup<\/strong> in Catalonia and those prosecuted for terrorism crimes, including former regional president Carles Puigdemont. The socialist F\u00e9lix Bola\u00f1os has responded to Reynders with a cynical letter<\/a> in which he pretends to be unaware of the aforementioned amnesty<\/strong>, stating that \"currently the Government of Spain is in office, which prevents it from sending bills to the Cortes Generales. In this sense, any bill that may be registered in the Congress of Deputies will come from the parliamentary groups and not from the Council of Ministers.\"<\/em><\/p>\n The socialist Bola\u00f1os adds: \"However, if a proposed amnesty law is registered, rest assured that we will explain to you<\/strong> and Vice President V\u011bra Jourov\u00e1 all the details of that law, as well as the position of our Government.\"<\/em> We are facing an exhibition of shamelessness, if we take into account that on November 2, just a week ago<\/strong>, it was Bola\u00f1os himself who signed the pact with ERC regarding that amnesty<\/a>. Let us remember, on the other hand, that on October 28 it was Pedro S\u00e1nchez, president of the government, who announced the amnesty<\/a>.<\/p>\n Shortly after, the PSOE leaked that it will announce its agreement with Junts this Thursday<\/big><\/p>\n In fact, shortly after Bola\u00f1os' response to the European Commission was disseminated, the PSOE leaked to a media related to the government that this Thursday it will announce its pact with Junts<\/a>, Puigdemont's party, a pact that would include that amnesty<\/strong> , which the socialists and separatists have been negotiating for days in Brussels.<\/p>\n A mockery of the Spanish that deserves more protests in the streets<\/big><\/p>\n Bola\u00f1os' letter is an exhibition of cynicism in which Commissioner Reynders is lied to and taken for a fool<\/strong>, pretending to be unaware of an amnesty law in which Pedro S\u00e1nchez's government has taken the lead in at all times with the aim of achieving his re-election. But if the teasing of the commissioner is serious, the most serious thing is the mockery that this letter represents against all Spaniards<\/strong>, as we have seen the president of the government and the aforementioned minister directly involved in this attack on the Rule of Law, to now see how they pretend to ignore what they are up to. <\/p>\n This government has no qualms about tarnishing the image of Spain and our institutions<\/strong>, and all this to obtain the support of a fugitive from Justice so that S\u00e1nchez can remain in power, at any price, even going so far as to put our democracy on the brink of a precipice.
