Rego is part of the Sumar candidacy, headed by the communist Yolanda D\u00edaz and which also includes <strong>M\u00f3nica Garc\u00eda, the new Minister of Health<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>M\u00f3nica Garc\u00eda is the daughter of Sergio Garc\u00eda Reyes, who was a deputy of the Communist Party of Spain (PCE) in the Madrid Assembly. <strong>She has a degree in Medicine and specializes in anesthesiology<\/strong>, but some of her opinions have a difficult fit with scientific thinking, as she demonstrated in a debate at the Madrid Assembly in December 2019.<\/p>\n<p>During a parliamentary debate, <strong>M\u00f3nica Garc\u00eda, a supporter of legalized abortion, criticized a pro-life campaign that offered free ultrasounds to pregnant mothers<\/strong>. The pro-abortion positions of the extreme left clash with the fact that there are pregnant women who want to have the opportunity to know the life that grows in their wombs.<\/p>\n<p>In his speech, Garc\u00eda addressed the then Vox deputy G\u00e1dor Joya, a doctor in Medicine, referring to <em>\"those <strong>fetuses that you consider that because they have a heartbeat they already have life. Well no<\/strong>, madam G\u00e1dor.\"<\/em> Her words caused astonishment among the Vox deputy and doctor, as well as laughter among those attending that session of the Assembly. <\/p>\n<p>In that debate, the then deputy and current mayor of Torrelodones <strong>Almudena Negro, of the Popular Party, responded to Garc\u00eda<\/strong> by reminding her of her status as a doctor, and adding: <em>\"<strong>Where there is no life is where There is no heartbeat, not where there is one<\/strong>, let's see if I have found out the other way around.\"<\/em> Here the video:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Diputada dice que el latido de un feto no indica que est\u00e1 vivo\" width=\"665\" height=\"374\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/7jOExKIEcf4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Let us remember that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2015\/09\/14\/un-punado-de-celulas-el-aborto-mata-a-un-ser-humano-con-hasta-43-000-millones\/\">the heart of an unborn child appears 18 days after conception and begins to beat at 21<\/a>.
