height:auto; border:0px;\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>The vehicles will probably be painted green in Ukraine <\/strong>, since with their current image they look good to imply that they are not vehicles for military use, but in Ukraine, <strong>as they are, it would be a excellent target for invaders.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/53183638253_3dd57dbf7e_o.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; border:0px;\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Let us remember that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2023\/09\/12\/the-rare-prototype-of-the-spanish-bmr-armored-vehicle-that-appeared-in-ukraine\/\">Spain already delivered a BMR ambulance to Ukraine<\/a> at the beginning of the invasion, <strong>specifically the only prototype of the BMR VRAC (Rescue Vehicle in Catastrophic Areas)<\/strong>, and it was painted green, As you can see on these lines, although it is unknown if it left Spain like this or was painted in Ukraine, since <strong>the Spanish government carried out its delivery with great secrecy<\/strong> and without publishing images.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/53452874267_88f01ae8c1_b.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; border:0px;\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In its Linkedin account, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/feed\/update\/urn:li:activity:7150124537794269186\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tecnove has published these two photos of these BMR<\/a>. These images offer some details about these vehicles. To begin with, <strong>they look like prototypes or pre-series vehicles of the BMR that were not updated to the M1 version<\/strong>, and therefore would not come from the BMR fleet that the Army has. <strong>One of them has two hydrojets on its back<\/strong>, which gives us a significant clue about its origin.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/53454214435_a596497dbf_b.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; border:0px;\" \/><\/p>\n<p>As <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/trubia_t\/status\/1744637177554669848\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">@trubia_t<\/a> pointed out this morning, these two vehicles are probably the which were at the General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS) facilities in Alcal\u00e1 de Guada\u00edra (Seville), both prototypes or pre-series models. As of August 2011, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/@37.337955,-5.8012147,3a,15y,7.8h,87.43t\/data=!3m7!1e1!3m5!1sl-splzSQEifMNcBElRQ_kA!2e0!5s20110801T000000!7i13312!8i6656?entry=ttu\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Google Street View captured these two vehicles in said facilities<\/a>, one of them painted white and the other with a camouflage in very light colors:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/53454214445_19eeaaec4a_b.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; border:0px;\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Here we can see one of the BMRs in more detail.<\/strong> This is the version that does not have hydrojets. As we see, it did not have the armor of the M1 version. It is probably <strong>the prototype used for the Mobile Emergency Command Post project presented at the Integra 2007 security fair<\/strong>, which appears on page 145 of the book <em>\"BMR. Los blindados del Ej\u00e9rcito Espa\u00f1ol\"<\/em> (BMR. The armored vehicles of the Spanish Army, Galland Books, 2008) by Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Manrique Garc\u00eda and Luis Molina Franco.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/53454214440_7ec6f5a3ae_b.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; border:0px;\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>The other vehicle is the one that carries the hydrojets.<\/strong> It is probably a personnel carrier BMR adapted for the Finisterre Project.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/53453925878_292d66b440_b.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; border:0px;\" \/><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2023\/09\/12\/the-rare-prototype-of-the-spanish-bmr-armored-vehicle-that-appeared-in-ukraine\/\">In September we already saw this Finisterre Project vehicle here<\/a>. It appears on the left in this photo, next to the VRAC prototype sent to Ukraine. The photo was published in the aforementioned book by Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Manrique Garc\u00eda and Luis Molina Franco. <strong>At that time these vehicles were abandoned in Paracuellos de Jarama (Madrid)<\/strong>, in a Santa Barbara Sistemas facility, today part of GDLS.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/53183584370_e51b203f79_b.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; border:0px;\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Yesterday, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lanzadigital.com\/provincia\/ciudad-real\/presentadas-las-dos-ambulancias-blindadas-que-tecnove-ha-adaptado-para-evacuar-enfermos-en-ucrania\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Lanzadigital.com<\/a> <strong>published this video in which we can better see these vehicles<\/strong> and their characteristics:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Tecnove presenta los dos blindados que ha adaptado en ambulancias para evacuar enfermos en Ucrania\" width=\"665\" height=\"374\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/c4l-8Ccw698?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>That newspaper points out that <em>\"the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) acquired <strong>two 6\u00d76 medium armored vehicles on wheels (BMRs) that had not been put into production previously<\/strong>\"<\/strong><\/em>.
