The government blocks the appearance of the shooter in a Europol file<\/big><\/p>\n As we saw here on Monday, the government of Pedro S\u00e1nchez has blocked the incorporation of the perpetrator of the crime into Europol's most wanted file<\/a>, despite the fact that only two wanted by Spain appear in that file, while smaller countries contribute three. This issue has caused logical indignation in Vox<\/strong>, especially taking into account the S\u00e1nchez government's precedents of favors to all kinds of criminals, including terrorists.<\/p>\n Vox initiative in the EU for Europol to include that criminal in that file<\/big><\/p>\n This Friday, Vox announced that it has presented an initiative in the European Union<\/a> to include the criminal who shot de Vidal-Quadras in Europol's most wanted list. \"The main suspect, the Tunisian hitman Mehrez Ayari, remains unaccounted for<\/strong>, with a search and arrest warrant issued by the National Court, which is investigating these events\"<\/em>, Vox points out. \"However, Ayari does not appear on the most wanted lists of Europol and Interpol. As we learned this week, the government blocked his inclusion, giving priority, in the Spanish quota, to a 71-year-old man wanted for a murder that occurred in 2003<\/strong>.\"<\/em><\/p>\n 28 MEPs from four groups have signed that petition<\/big><\/p>\n Given the attitude of the S\u00e1nchez government in this case, Vox spokesperson in the European Parliament, Jorge Buxad\u00e9, has led a joint letter joined by 28 MEPs<\/strong>, requesting the European Commissioner for Affairs of the Interior, Ylva Johansson, and the executive director of Europol, Catherine De Bolle, \"to include the hitman on said list, crucial for the international search for fugitives<\/strong>.\"<\/em><\/p>\n The statement released yesterday by Vox highlights that those 28 signatory MEPs belong to four different parliamentary groups<\/a>. The list is headed by the four Vox MEPs. But the most striking thing is the absences observed in this list<\/strong>. You can see below the names that appear on the list, along with their nationality, their party and their parliamentary group:<\/p>\n No signatories from the left or the Popular Party of Spain<\/big><\/p>\n It is surprising to note that this initiative has been supported by more MEPs from Hungary than from Spain<\/strong> and by as many French as Spanish MEPs. Reviewing the list we can see that no MEP from the left has signed<\/strong>. Neither Renew Europe, nor the socialists, nor the greens nor the communists.<\/p>\n Likewise, there are only three signatures from the European People's Party and none of those signatures are Spanish<\/strong>. The Popular Party of Spain (PP) has 13 MEPs in Brussels and none of them have signed this document. Let us remember that the PP was quick to condemn a pi\u00f1ata against S\u00e1nchez <\/a> which has been denounced by the Spanish socialists, but when it comes to signing a petition to Europol to pursue the criminal who shot Vidal-Quadras, the PP does not appear<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
