On Friday, January 16, 2014, ten years ago today, a new political party was presented at an event held in Madrid: Vox.<\/p>\n
The first news I had about Vox came on January 14, 2014<\/strong>, when the presentation of that new party was announced. The next day, Thursday, January 15<\/strong>, I published my first article here about Vox in Contando Estrelas<\/a>. He spoke there about the issues that had created an \"orphan right\", which had been left without a party to vote for<\/strong>, fed up with the Popular Party's betrayal of its voters. Among these issues were the right to life, freedom of education, the unity of Spain and support for the victims of terrorism<\/strong>, betrayed by the PP<\/a> as before they had been betrayed by the PSOE.<\/p>\n In these ten years I have published 1,632 articles about Vox.<\/strong> I have never been an affiliate of that party, but I have supported it in its \"desert journey\", when others turned their backs on it. In these ten years I have been a Vox voter without exception<\/strong>, except when I have not had the opportunity to vote for that party because it was not present in my constituency (in those cases I voted blank). Vox made me recover a feeling that I had lost: the pleasure of being able to vote without having to hold my nose<\/strong>, knowing that I entrust my vote to a political party that has never disappointed the trust I placed in it and that He has been defending in the institutions the same ideals that I defended since Contando Estrelas<\/strong> before Vox appeared.<\/p>\n As a voter, I feel great gratitude to Vox for these ten years<\/strong>, not only for the work that this party has been doing to open debates that the left and the PP had falsely closed, but also for remain firm despite the wave of violence, hatred and lies that has been directed against that party<\/strong>, attacks that have only served to portray the aggressors and manipulators who attacked Vox and who have demonstrated that in Vox there are firm convictions and brave people to defend them<\/strong>. Some people I admire.<\/p>\n Ten years and 1,632 articles later, today I have the satisfaction of being able to repeat the definition of Vox that I wrote in that first article<\/strong> that I published about that party: it is still a reason for hope for that we had been left without a voice in the institutions<\/a>. A hope for which Vox deserves great gratitude and which, at the same time, is a great responsibility for it. To all of you who are part of Vox, I wish that Good, Truth and Justice continue to guide your steps<\/strong> in your work for a better Spain.<\/p>\n
