That city was the former capital of that country in the interwar period, since at that time Vilnius was part of Poland. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@DjDenKot\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Dj Den Kot<\/a> <strong>published this video yesterday in which we see the arrival of Spanish ships to that Lithuanian city<\/strong>, accompanied by the aforementioned German ship and the frigate \"Luigi Rizzo\" (F595) of the Italian Navy.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"NATO Warships in Klaipeda Port\" width=\"665\" height=\"374\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/nIghKQrC35k?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>On January 22, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Lithuanian_NAVY\/status\/1749432834513596444\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the Lithuanian Navy published this photo of the F-102 frigate<\/a > <strong>moored in the port of Klaipeda<\/strong>, with the pier completely covered in snow.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/53493721578_e6a18b47ef_b.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; border:0px;\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In Klaipeda, <strong>the F-102 frigate received a visit from the Spanish ambassador to Lithuania, Nieves Blanco D\u00edaz, and the Defense Attach\u00e9, Colonel Manuel Gonz\u00e1lez Calvete<\/strong>, from the Army. The Embassy of Spain in Lithuania <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/EmbEspanaLituan\/status\/1750214590049222991\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">published<\/a> these photos of the visit on January 24. In the first one we see the flight deck of the frigate \"Almirante Juan de Borb\u00f3n\" and just behind it, to its stern, the BAC \"Cantabria\".<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/53493721543_62039113bb_b.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; border:0px;\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/53493721538_572cc832ca_b.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; border:0px;\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/53492684552_a0ee7cfffd_b.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; border:0px;\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Also on January 24, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/COM_SNMG1\/status\/1750241781101273414\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">SNMG-1 published the three photos that you can see below<\/a> of <strong>the visit of participants in NATO's Furious Wolf exercise to the F-102 frigate<\/strong>.
