Today, several conservative parties have issued messages of support for the Ukrainian cause:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>\"<strong>Ukraine\u2019s fight is Europe\u2019s fight.<\/strong> We support those who defend their country with courage and sacrifice and we stand by Ukraine until its victory\"<\/em> (<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ecrgroup\/status\/1761306211301916883\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">ECR Group<\/a>, parliamentary group of the European Conservatives and Reformists).<\/li>\n<li><em>\"When two years have passed since the criminal invasion of Ukraine by the oligarchic and dictatorial Russia of Vladimir Putin, <strong>we send our affection to the families of all the Ukrainians who fell victims of aggression and in defense of sovereignty and the homeland<\/strong>. Ukraine has the right to defend and recover its national sovereignty. VOX and the ECR group <strong>we are committed to our neighboring allies of Ukraine also threatened by Russia<\/strong>\"<\/em> (<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/vox_es\/status\/1761657355060592764\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Vox<\/a>, <strong>Spain<\/strong>).<\/li>\n<li><em>\"<strong>We continue to support Ukraine in what I have always considered the right of its people to defend themselves.<\/strong> This necessarily also presupposes military support to confuse the much vaunted word peace with surrender, as some do, it is a hypocritical approach that we will never share\"<\/em> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ansa.it\/sito\/notizie\/mondo\/europa\/2024\/02\/24\/meloni-a-kiev-presiedera-la-riunione-del-g7-sullucraina_6c9d2267-699d-467b-ab79-807d0a326aaa.html\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Giorgia Meloni<\/a>, Prime Minister of <strong>Italy<\/strong> and President of Fratelli d'Italia).<\/li>\n<li><em>\"Today, just like two years ago, <strong>there is only one scenario in which Russia's illegal war in Ukraine can end: the victory of Ukraine<\/strong> and the countries of the free world\"<\/em> (<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MorawieckiM\/status\/1761358806401843702\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Mateusz Morawiecki<\/a>, shared on the Twitter account of the party <strong>Prawo i Sprawiedliwo\u015b\u0107, Poland<\/strong>).<\/li>\n<li><em>\"<strong>Today marks 2 years since Russia invaded Ukraine. Ukraine is the first line of defense, so we must continue to support it<\/strong>. It is Ukraine that pays for freedom with its blood and its lives. We help it with technology, finance and training.
