This could give the impression that there is an opposition in Russia, but <strong>those three alternative parties are an opposition as false as<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/confilegal.com\/20210821-la-republica-popular-china-tiene-8-partidos-democraticos-todos-amigos-intimos-del-pcch-con-742-000-militantes\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the eight \"democratic parties\" consented by communist China<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>None of the alternative candidates has dared to attack Putin throughout the election campaign. <strong>Their role in this farce is to channel discontent within the regime and give a false impression of pluralism.<\/strong> None of these alternative candidates rejects the Russian invasion of Ukraine. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.france24.com\/en\/europe\/20240315-russia-presidential-election-three-candidates-putin-slutsky-kharitonov-davankov-little-suspense\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Two candidates who did oppose the war, Yekaterina Duntsova and Boris Nadezhdin, were excluded from the process.<\/a> They are lucky to be alive, because Putin's opponents are being killed one after another.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The candidate most likely to stand up to Putin, Alexei Navalny, died on February 16 in a Russian prison<\/strong>, after being imprisoned for political reasons. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/mundo\/noticias-internacional-54000515\"\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">In 2020 he had already been poisoned with Novichok<\/a>, a nerve agent produced by the USSR that has already been used in assassinations or attempted assassinations against other opponents of the Putin regime. <strong>What Russia has is a purely mafia dictatorship<\/strong>, and in recent hours some images have been released that highlight this terrible reality.<\/p>\n<p>This Monday, <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/news_kremlin_eng\/3199\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the Kremlin's Telegram channel has published three photos<\/a> showing <strong> a meeting of Putin with those prop rivals<\/strong>. <a href=\"http:\/\/en.kremlin.ru\/events\/president\/news\/73668\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Kremlin website notes that they were invited by Putin<\/a>, surely with the intention of disguising last weekend's electoral farce as normality. <strong>Look closely at the faces:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/53596711596_b655ae2133_b.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; border:0px;\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It seems <strong>a rather tense meeting<\/strong>, in which the prop rivals look at the dictator with <strong>a mixture of fear and hatred<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/53597040069_a2a54d6017_b.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; border:0px;\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Putin's face<\/strong> is even more significant:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/53595836172_166a85bae0_b.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; border:0px;\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>It is like the mafia boss who receives his henchmen<\/strong> and who is attentive to each of their words and gestures in case he has to discipline them.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/53596715576_d2658495f2_b.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; border:0px;\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Putin hides his left hand under the table during part of the meeting.<\/strong> There is nothing in it, but if you told me that he was pointing a gun at them under the table, I would believe it, seeing the faces that your guests make.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/53596927053_b477e66a43_b.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; border:0px;\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>In the center of the table there is an oval object<\/strong> from which four cables come out to each of those sitting at the table. In the first of them, <strong>Slutsky tells Putin that they gave a lot of votes to the \"main candidate\", that is, Putin<\/strong>.
