This Friday, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@flybywire-aviation\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Fly By Wire Aviation<\/a> <strong>released a video of the fourth 707 of the Spanish Air Force<\/strong>, the TM.17-4, which will soon be exhibited at the Cuatro Vientos Air Museum, in Madrid. The video shows the <strong>Pratt & Whitney JT3D-7 turbofan engines<\/strong> of this plane and its landing gear:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Motores Pratt &amp; Whitney JT3D-7 Boeing 707\" width=\"665\" height=\"374\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Abyha9o8m38?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>The TM.17-4 was the least known and the most valuable of the four Boeing 707s of the Air Force.<\/strong> Unlike the other three aircraft of this type, the plane was decorated with a discreet color gray, a paint scheme that was also eventually applied to the T.17-1. In 1973 it was acquired by the Greek airline Olympic Airways, receiving the registration SX-DBO. Later, he received the registration TM-17-4 and the number 47-04, corresponding to the now disappeared <strong>47 Mixed Air Force Group<\/strong>, a unit in which he coincided with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2024\/01\/13\/tm-11-brujo-the-spanish-falcon-military-plane-whose-mission-was-not-to-transport-politicians\/\">el TM. 11 Witch we talk about here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"foto_piedefoto\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/53620127362_ab7f0d94de_b.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; border:0px;\" \/><\/div>\n<div class=\"piedefoto\">Unlike the other Spanish 707s, the TM.17-4 was painted with a discreet gray scheme very appropriate for its missions (Photo: <a href=\"https:\/\/commons.wikimedia.org\/wiki\/File:Boeing_707_(5081094189).jpg\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Carlos Menendez San Juan<\/a>).<\/div>\n<p>In the Air Force, <strong>the TM.17-4 developed intelligence collection missions of various types:<\/strong> electronic (ELINT), electro-optical (EOPINT) and communications (COMINT), <strong> being a very valuable asset for the Armed Forces Intelligence Center (CIFAS)<\/strong>.
