The cynicism of the Spanish left is reaching extremes typical of the totalitarian regime in George Orwell's novel \"1984.\"<\/p>\n

Three years ago, that party voted against the European condemnation of the crimes of nazism and communism<\/a>, because it seemed inappropriate to equate both ideologies, which have murdered millions of human beings. During the parliamentary debate of that sentence, the PSOE called communists like Santiago Carrillo \"defenders of freedom\"<\/a>, responsible for the Paracuellos massacre in 1936<\/a>, in which < strong>5,000 political prisoners were murdered, including 50 children<\/strong>.<\/p>\n He also voted against a petition to end the Cuban dictatorship<\/big><\/p>\n Also in 2021, the PSOE voted against a European resolution to end the Cuban communist dictatorship<\/a>, joining communist MEPs to reject a text that expressed its \"support and commitment to the Cuban people as well as to freedom and democracy in Cuba.\"<\/em> That same year, the PSOE rejected a European initiative against repression in Cuba<\/a>, voting together with its communist allies<\/strong> to defend the interests of that dictatorship. The rejected text strongly condemned \"the existence of political prisoners, persistent and permanent political persecution, acts of harassment and arbitrary arrests of dissidents in Cuba.\"<\/em><\/p>\n The good relations of the PSOE with the Chinese Communist Party<\/big><\/p>\n On the other hand, and as I pointed out here, the PSOE has been maintaining cordial relations for years with the Chinese Communist Party<\/a>, the sole party of the largest dictatorship in the world<\/strong>, a regime undemocratic that violates human rights, that maintains a network of concentration camps for political prisoners (the Laogai) and that is committing genocide against the Uyghur people<\/a>.<\/p>\n S\u00e1nchez does not believe that Venezuela is a dictatorship<\/big><\/p>\n Let us also remember that in August 2018, shortly after coming to power, S\u00e1nchez rejected calling Venezuela a \"dictatorship\"<\/a> and did not support that Nicol\u00e1s Maduro be tried for his crimes.<\/p>\n Just yesterday S\u00e1nchez showed his \"firm support\" for the dictator Mahmoud Abbas<\/big><\/p>\n
