Like that island, the islet of Strombolicchio is of volcanic origin. At its base there is a small house for the guardian. The upper part of the lighthouse has a circular balcony that surrounds the lantern. <strong>Next to the lighthouse there is a viewpoint that can be used as a heliport<\/strong> (for several years now it has had a large letter H painted on the ground).<\/p>\n<div class=\"foto_piedefoto\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/53705173872_75cb09b667_o.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; border:0px;\" \/><\/div>\n<div class=\"piedefoto\">This photo of the Strombolicchio lighthouse seems to indicate that the former lighthouse keeper's home is abandoned.
