You can read below the information published by the Ministry of Defense (<a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1BoAQ1u_K_il1kAKXXhftzqbzAFtpVwJK\/view?pli=1\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">see PDF of the press dossier<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p><big>Data of the personnel and material that will participate in the events<\/big><\/p>\n<p>As reported by the Ministry of Defense, <strong>6,250 soldiers (5,688 men and 562 women) participate in the activities scheduled in Oviedo and Gij\u00f3n<\/strong> for this Armed Forces Day:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>3,293 military personnel<\/strong> (3,043 men and 250 women) participate in the <strong>land parade in Oviedo<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>157 vehicles<\/strong> (13 armored and mechanized vehicles, 108 wheeled vehicles and 36 motorcycles will participate in the <strong>land parade in Oviedo<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>270 military personnel<\/strong> (261 men and 9 women) participate in the <strong>air parade in Gij\u00f3n<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>151 military personnel<\/strong> (137 men and 14 women) participate in the <strong>Paseo del Bomb\u00e9 exhibition in Oviedo<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>151 military personnel<\/strong> (137 men and 14 women) participate in the <strong>Paseo del Bomb\u00e9 exhibition in Oviedo<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>292 military personnel<\/strong> (272 men and 20 women) participate in the <strong>Military Music Meeting<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>2,071 soldiers<\/strong> (1,824 men and 247 women) participate in the <strong>aeronaval activities in Gij\u00f3n<\/strong> (Naval Presence and Static Exhibition, Naval Review and Beach Exhibition).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><big2>Oviedo<\/big2><\/p>\n<p><strong>From Wednesday, May 22 to Sunday, May 26<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1:00 p.m.: <strong>Inauguration of the static\/dynamic material exhibition<\/strong>, on Paseo del Bomb\u00e9 (Campo de San Francisco). <strong>Times:<\/strong> Wednesday: from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm; Thursday: from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm; Friday: 10:00 am to 7:00 pm; Saturday: from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm; Sunday: from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm <a href=\"https:\/\/www.defensa.gob.es\/diadelasfuerzasarmadas\/especiales-html\/oviedo-22may.html\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">More information here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Friday, May 24<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Air presence. Aircraft overflight from 5:50 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.<\/strong>The aircraft participating in the aerial parade in Gij\u00f3n will then fly over the city of Oviedo. In total there will be 22 EF-18M fighters, 8 training aircraft (4 Pilatus PC-21 and 4 F-5BM), 4 transport aircraft and 22 helicopters.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Meeting of military music. At 8:00 p.m. in the Cathedral Square.<\/strong>It will be chaired by the Chief of the Defense Staff (JEMAD). It will feature music units from the Royal Guard, the Army, the Navy, the Air Force, the Civil Guard and the Municipal Band of the Oviedo City Council.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Saturday May 25<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Central event of Armed Forces Day 2024. It will begin at 12:00 noon and will be chaired by H.M. the King.<\/strong> Constar\u00e1 de las siguientes partes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Arrival of HH.MM. the Kings.<\/li>\n<li>Military Honors to HH.MM. the Kings.<\/li>\n<li>Magazine of H.M. the King to the troops.<\/li>\n<li>Hoisting and Tribute to the National Flag.<\/li>\n<li>Tribute to those who gave their lives for Spain. Below these lines you can see the plan of this naval parade:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/53737489374_bcc012b8be_b.jpg\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/53737489374_bcc012b8be_b.jpg\" style=\"width:661px; height:auto; border:2px solid #7F7261;\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>4:30 pm: <strong>Dynamic exhibition in the Plaza de San Lorenzo.<\/strong> At the end of the Naval Review there will be an exhibition of media and personnel from the Marine Corps Force, the Army, the Air Force, the Military Emergency Unit and of the Civil Guard.<\/li>\n<li>5:45 pm: <strong>Air Parade on San Lorenzo Beach.<\/strong> If weather conditions permit, this parade will have the participation of aircraft from the Army, the Navy, the Air Force and the Civil Guard. The Patrulla \u00c1guila will close the parade and put on a display.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><big2>Rest of Spain<\/big2><\/p>\n<p><strong>On the occasion of Armed Forces Day, the Armed Forces carry out various activities throughout Spain<\/strong>, with open days in barracks, bases and ships, demonstrations, military music concerts, etc. The Ministry of Defense has published data on the events in different provinces on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.defensa.gob.es\/diadelasfuerzasarmadas\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the official site of the Armed Forces Day 2024<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/agenda-defensa\/\">Agenda of Defensa y Aviaci\u00f3n (click here)<\/a> you will be able to see those activities of which you are aware.
