This Wednesday, June 26, the largest air deployment that the Spanish Air Force has organized in recent decades began.<\/p>\n

The deployment was launched from the Albacete Air Base<\/a>, where the Spanish aviators participated in a farewell ceremony presided over by the chief general of the Air Combat Command (MACOM), Lieutenant General Francisco Gonz\u00e1lez-Espresati, who He said: \"You are the image of Spain around the world<\/strong>\".<\/em><\/p>\n

This deployment, called Pacific Skies 2024, consists of a trip around the world flying 58,000 kilometers, organized jointly with the German and French Air Forces<\/strong>. The first stage has arrived in Goose Bay, Canada, after a six-hour flight. The aircraft participating in this deployment are:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Spain:<\/strong> 4 Eurofighter (of Wing 14 of Albacete and Wing 11 of Mor\u00f3n), 1 A400M of Wing 31 (Zaragoza).<\/li>\n
  • Germany:<\/strong> 8 Eurofighter, 4 A400M and 1 C-130J Super Hercules.<\/li>\n
  • France:<\/strong> 2 A330 MRTT.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    On the crossing, the German planes were refueled in flight by a Royal Netherlands Air Force A330 MRTT<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
