The institutional degradation of Spain has one of its clear exponents in the lack of respect for the neutrality of public institutions.<\/p>\n
The PP and the left impose an ideological flag on official buildings<\/big><\/p>\n This Friday, on the occasion of the so-called LGBT pride day, many public organizations have displayed an unofficial flag<\/strong> (or more than one, since several different models are now used) to symbolize that day. As has happened in other years, the Popular Party (PP) has joined this practice<\/strong>, for example, in the parliaments of Andalusia<\/a> and Balearic Islands<\/a>, and like other times, the only party that has rejected the raising of that flag has been Vox<\/a>.<\/p>\n On social networks it is common for Vox to be the only political party that does not put that ideological flag on its profile<\/a>, since it is a flag that is being used not to symbolize certain people because of their sexual orientation (many homosexuals do not even feel represented by that flag<\/strong>), but to promote the dogmas of gender ideology, whose theses, absolutely questionable, were formulated by the left<\/a> and they have ended up being assumed by the PP<\/strong>, just as happened with abortion, climate catastrophism, mass immigration or social democratic recipes.<\/p>\n A disobedience of a final ruling of the Supreme Court<\/big><\/p>\n Of course, political parties are very free to do what they want with their particular channels on social networks, but public institutions belong to all Spaniards, not just those who support that ideology<\/strong>. Four years ago, the Supreme Court issued a ruling that prohibited the use of unofficial flags in public buildings<\/a>, recalling that \"it is not compatible with the constitutional framework and current legal law<\/strong>, and in particular, with the duty of objectivity and neutrality of Public Administrations the use, even occasional, of unofficial flags on the outside of buildings and public spaces<\/strong>, even when they do not replace, but rather coincide, with the flag of Spain and the other legally or statutorily instituted ones.\"<\/em><\/p>\n Despite boasting of being a \"constitutionalist\" party that respects the rule of law, the Popular Party is disobeying that ruling just as the left does<\/strong>, thereby also demonstrating a curious idea of the representativeness of our official symbols. Because in Spain there is already a flag that represents all homosexuals<\/strong> (and those who are not), a flag that symbolizes our rights and freedoms, including equality before the law: it is the National Flag, and not the flags of the LGBT lobby<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Only Vox defends legality in matters of official symbols<\/big><\/p>\n On social networks I often read the expression \"S\u00f3lo queda Vox\" (Vox is the only one left) to symbolize that only this party defends principles that the PP has betrayed<\/strong>. Every time Vox and its supporters use that slogan they are doing nothing other than confirming an alarming fact for our democracy: the other parties with a presence in Congress have no qualms about disobeying a firm ruling from the Supreme Court<\/strong> relating to something that all our public representatives are obliged to respect: the neutrality of public administrations.<\/p>\n Thus, the PP is as responsible as the left for the degradation of our Rule of Law<\/strong>, a degradation to which it has contributed this week agreeing on a distribution of the General Council of Power Judicial with the PSOE<\/a>, a pact that the socialists they have already indicated<\/a> that it will not imply the depotilization of Justice. And after that, in case we didn't have enough, the PP once again displays this lack of respect for our legality by raising that ideological flag in public buildings<\/strong>. Is this what some consider a \"useful vote\"? Useful for whom, for the left? Useful for what, to help degrade our democracy?<\/p>\n ---<\/p>\n
