This unit has demonstrated how capable this aircraft is of performing surprising maneuvers, but <strong>its flights would not be possible without a significant maintenance team<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"foto_piedefoto\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/3911\/14748731923_f72f97ac9e_b.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; border:0px;\" \/><\/div>\n<div class=\"piedefoto\">The Patrulla \u00c1guila at the La Coru\u00f1a Air Festival on July 20, 2014 (Photo: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/elentir\/14748731923\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Elentir<\/a>).<\/div>\n<p>In April we already saw here <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2024\/04\/23\/the-hydraulic-team-that-maintains-the-c-101-aviojet-airplanes-of-the-patrulla-aguila\/\">the work of the hydraulics team of the Patrulla \u00c1guila<\/a>. Today the Spanish Air Force has published <strong>a new video showing the work of the electrical team<\/strong>, which is in charge of the maintenance and control of all the electrical systems of the C-101s of the Patrulla \u00c1guila. <strong>The team is made up of three men<\/strong>, who are in charge of explaining their work, including some little-known details of these aircraft for the general public, such as <strong>the procedure to activate the white and colored smoke trails<\/strong> (the video is in Spanish, you can activate automatic English subtitles in the bottom bar of the player):<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Conoce al equipo de la Patrulla A\u0301guila. Here we see <strong>the two batteries that supply electricity to the C-101 in flight<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/53940770384_d2d72c87f3_b.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; border:0px;\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>The navigation light on the port wingtip<\/strong>. It is red and has a small fin whose reason for being <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2023\/12\/27\/the-details-that-we-can-see-in-a-casa-c-101-aviojet-airplane-seen-from-very-close-up\/\">I explained it to you here<\/a> in December 2023: it serves to avoid distracting pilots with the glare of the navigation lights during night flights.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/53940438021_9006e3722e_b.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; border:0px;\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A curiosity that I had never seen is <strong>the deployment of the landing lights of the C-101<\/strong>.
