We are living in difficult times for freedom of speech, especially on some social networks, such as Facebook.<\/p>\n
In the last few hours, the company headed by Marc Zuckerberg has censored five posts from my Facebook profile without even telling me what they are or why they were removed<\/strong>, and without giving me the opportunity to appeal the decision. Facebook has been targeting this blog for some time now, as it has other conservative websites<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Just this week, Zuckerberg acknowledged pressure from the Biden administration to censor Facebook<\/a>, but in acknowledging this, he overlooked one thing: he gave in to that pressure and militantly exercised that censorship<\/strong>, especially against Catholic and conservative users and pages on his network.<\/p>\n Facebook censorship is of two types: the first is arbitrarily deleting your posts<\/strong>, sometimes for absurd reasons (a few months ago I already put here some examples of images censored by Facebook<\/a> because it considered them \"violent\", even though they weren't). The second type of censorship is reducing the dissemination of your posts<\/strong>, so that they are no longer seen even by the followers of your Facebook pages. Today, as a result of this, the visits that come from Facebook to this blog are much less than those that come from Twitter<\/strong>, a network with many fewer users but with much more freedom when it comes to publishing.<\/p>\n I don't know how long it will take Facebook to close my profile and pages<\/strong>, but I assume that this will happen. Therefore, for those of you who follow this blog from that social network, I am indicating some alternatives to be able to continue reading what I publish:<\/strong><\/p>\n Many thanks to all of you who follow this blog on social media<\/strong> and especially to those who share what I publish on them.
