Pedro S\u00e1nchez is on an official trip to India, accompanied by his wife after she was charged with influence peddling.<\/p>\n
Some media have spoken of the opportuneness of the official trips that S\u00e1nchez has scheduled outside of Spain<\/strong> in the midst of the corruption scandals<\/a> that affect his party, his government and his family environment, and also after the recent scandal affecting his communist government partners<\/a>. However, there is one fact that allows us to interpret this trip to India as something worse than an attempt to flee Spain in the midst of a political storm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n That fact is the coincidence of Pedro S\u00e1nchez and the Venezuelan leader Delcy Rodr\u00edguez in the city of Bombay<\/a>, who has arrived in that city after participating in the meeting of the BRICS in Kazan, Russia<\/a>. A coincidence that seems anything but coincidental, given some recent events.<\/p>\n 19 days ago, the Central Operative Unit (UCO) of the Civil Guard revealed that S\u00e1nchez authorized Delcy Rodr\u00edguez's illegal visit to Spain<\/a> in January 2020, violating the sanctions imposed by the European Union against the Venezuelan socialist dictatorship<\/strong> and against several of its leaders, including Rodr\u00edguez. This information confirms that S\u00e1nchez lied when he said he was unaware of the purpose of Rodr\u00edguez's visit to Spain<\/a>. In case anyone is unaware of this fact, we must remember that Rodr\u00edguez's illegal visit<\/strong> is related to the corruption scandals of the S\u00e1nchez government<\/a>.<\/p>\n We must also not forget that in September of this year, Delcy Rodr\u00edguez extorted the president-elect of Venezuela, Edmundo Gonz\u00e1lez<\/a>, at the Spanish Embassy in Caracas<\/strong>. The fact that this was done in a Spanish diplomatic headquarters and in the presence of the Spanish ambassador in that country leads to the conclusion that the S\u00e1nchez government acted as an accomplice to this extortion<\/strong>.<\/p>\n By now it has become clear that the dark relationship between the S\u00e1nchez government and Delcy Rodr\u00edguez is not over<\/strong>, especially considering the connection of former Prime Minister Jos\u00e9 Luis Rodr\u00edguez Zapatero<\/strong> with the Venezuelan dictatorship, a connection that is also related to the trafficking of gold bullion related to that illegal visit by Delcy Rodr\u00edguez to Spain<\/a>, as revealed by VozP\u00f3puli on October 16.<\/p>\n After all we have seen so far, I think it is logical and necessary to ask: Has S\u00e1nchez already held or scheduled a meeting with Delcy Rodr\u00edguez in Bombay?<\/strong> If so, what is the purpose of this meeting? In a democracy, the government must be held accountable for its actions, and this government has already hidden things and lied to the Spanish people too many times<\/strong>, including about its relationship with the Venezuelan dictatorship.<\/p>\n This relationship between the Spanish socialist government and the Venezuelan socialist dictatorship is scandalous,<\/strong> not only because of the human rights violations in that authoritarian regime, but also because it is a regime that has made drug trafficking its main source of financing,<\/a> in addition to being an ally of dictatorships openly hostile to Western democracies,<\/strong> such as Russia, Belarus, Iran, and communist China. In Spain we have a government that demonizes the democratic opposition while associating with dictatorships and criminals of all kinds.<\/strong> It is shameful and scandalous.<\/p>\n ---<\/p>\n
