Four days. That is how long Pedro S\u00e1nchez has waited to announce a large deployment of the Armed Forces in response to the cold snap.<\/p>\n
The disaster occurred on Tuesday, October 29<\/a> and that same night the terrible consequences of that cold drop were already known. However, the S\u00e1nchez government has refused to declare a national emergency, inexplicably delaying the deployment of the Army<\/strong> in the affected areas. A delay that can only be interpreted as serious negligence that may have cost many human lives<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Sanchez lies and blames Maz\u00f3n for the delay in military deployment<\/big><\/p>\n This afternoon, S\u00e1nchez appeared at a press conference<\/a> in which he blamed the Valencian government for the lack of military deployment until today<\/strong>, claiming that Carlos Maz\u00f3n did not make that request until today. This is a lie: it has been two days since Maz\u00f3n asked the government for \"the available troops\" of the Army, Navy and Air Force<\/a>, while indignation grew among Spaniards over the government's absurd delay in ordering this deployment.<\/p>\n That message from Maz\u00f3n was published at 17:16 CET. Two hours later, the Ministry of Defense announced the deployment of 500 more soldiers<\/a>, a ridiculous figure<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The law that enables the government to take command<\/big><\/p>\n Let us also keep in mind that the National Security Law<\/a> enables in its Article 23.2 the government to assume command in a situation like this<\/strong>, which \"due to the severity of its effects and the dimension, urgency and transversality of the measures for its resolution, requires reinforced coordination of the competent authorities.\"<\/em> The government evades its responsibility for purely political reasons<\/strong>, to place all responsibility on a regional administration and even blame it for the scarce military deployment so far, when the Armed Forces are the exclusive competence of the government<\/strong>, as indicated in Article 149 of the Constitution.<\/p>\n Abascal blames S\u00e1nchez for \u201cnot having activated all the resources of the State\u201d<\/big><\/p>\n
