A democracy begins to cease to be one when the government begins to criminalize all those who contradict its dogmas and desires.<\/p>\n
Yesterday, in statements to the media on the occasion of Constitution Day, S\u00e1nchez commented on the corruption scandals of his government, presenting himself as a victim<\/strong>, with the following words<\/a>: \"There is harassment by land, sea and air from the judicial and political spheres.\"<\/em><\/p>\n Let us remember that years ago the Spanish left unleashed a furious campaign against political rivals such as Francisco Camps and Rita Barber\u00e1<\/strong>, accusing them of political corruption. Camps was acquitted of all charges and Barber\u00e1 died without having been charged with any crime. Today, the same left describes the fact that the courts are investigating their corruption scandals as \"harassment.\"<\/strong><\/p>\n What S\u00e1nchez did yesterday was to launch a hoax against judges and the opposition to criminalize them for doing their job<\/strong>, presenting them as harassers and even directing a threatening phrase at them: \"When the time comes, the harassment will turn against the harassers.\"<\/em><\/strong> These words have a sinister mafia tone, if we take into account that they come from the leader of a party that displays an absolute lack of scruples.<\/p>\n It must be said that this is not the first time that S\u00e1nchez has used this hoax to criminalize those who do something that makes him uncomfortable:<\/strong> he has already used this hoax against defenders of the right to life of unborn children<\/a>, presenting them as harassers for the mere fact of praying or offering information to mothers who go to abortion centers to get rid of their unborn children.<\/p>\n Let us remember that S\u00e1nchez used this hoax to promote a law that threatens pro-lifers with jail<\/a> while he refused to act against tributes to ETA terrorists<\/strong>, tributes organized in many cases by Bildu, one of the government's separatist allies.<\/p>\n It is worth remembering that many media outlets, even some that supposedly oppose the government, bought into this hoax against the pro-life people<\/strong>, thus contributing to this crude campaign of criminalization launched by the socialist government against those who defend the rights of the most innocent and defenseless<\/strong>. In fact, in line with this campaign, two years ago only Vox appealed against S\u00e1nchez's gag law against the pro-life people<\/a>. The Popular Party let the deadline pass without filing an appeal with the Constitutional Court.<\/p>\n Two years later, S\u00e1nchez uses against the PP the same lie that the PP did not want to combat in the legal field when it was launched against the pro-life.<\/strong> It is worth asking whether some politicians in Spain have not read Mart\u00edn Niem\u00f6ller's famous poem<\/a>, in which he warned about the consequences of looking the other way when totalitarians dedicate themselves to persecuting people who do not think like them. Once again, history repeats itself because of the insistence of some people to ignore it.<\/strong><\/p>\n ---<\/p>\n
