It is enough to review some facts that anyone can verify:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2021\/03\/26\/spanish-parliament-refuses-to-condemn-the-crimes-of-nazism-and-communism\/\">In 2021, the PSOE voted against the European resolution that condemned the crimes of Nazism and Communism<\/a> in 2019, a resolution that recalled that these totalitarian regimes committed \"mass murders, genocides and deportations.\" During the parliamentary debate, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2021\/03\/24\/psoe-y-ultraizquierda-ensalzan-a-criminales-y-antidemocratas-en-un-pleno-del-congreso\/\">the socialists praised communists like Santiago Carrillo<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2017\/11\/07\/the-names-of-the-50-children-killed-by-communists-in-the-paracuellos-massacre\/\">responsible for the Paracuellos massacre<\/a>, granting them the title of \"freedom fighters\".<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2022\/11\/05\/sanchezs-selective-memory-his-government-maintains-medals-to-communist-dictators\/\">The PSOE awarded the Senate's gold medal to two communist dictators<\/a>, <strong>Kostantin Chernenko (in 1984) and Fidel Castro (in 1988)<\/strong>. These medals were awarded when the socialists had an absolute majority in the upper house of the Spanish Parliament. Both medals have never been withdrawn.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2024\/10\/09\/the-pp-supports-a-law-that-penalizes-praising-francoism-but-not-communist-dictatorships\/\">The PSOE has promoted laws that penalize the glorification of Francoism but not the glorification of communist dictatorships<\/a>, despite the fact that the latter regimes killed many more people than the Franco dictatorship.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2024\/05\/24\/the-immoral-meeting-of-the-psoe-with-the-single-party-of-the-largest-dictatorship-in-the-world\/\">The PSOE maintains cordial relations with the Communist Party of China,<\/a> <strong>which is the single party of the largest dictatorship in the world<\/strong>, an anti-democratic regime that has been governing that country since 1949 without free elections and systematically violating human rights.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2021\/06\/10\/el-psoe-y-podemos-votan-en-contra-de-una-condena-europea-de-la-represion-en-cuba\/\">In 2021, the PSOE voted against a European resolution condemning repression in Cuba<\/a>, a communist dictatorship established in 1959 that continues to govern that country with a single-party regime, without free elections and imposing brutal repression against the democratic opposition.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Under these conditions, when <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eldebate.com\/espana\/20241210\/sanchez-utilizara-50-anos-muerte-franco-como-nueva-cortina-humo-centenar-actos_252110.html\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Pedro S\u00e1nchez says that his government will organize one hundred events to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Franco's death<\/a>, he is not only announcing an immense smokescreen paid for by all taxpayers to cover up the socialists' corruption scandals, but he also <strong>intends to celebrate this anniversary not because Franco was a dictator, but because he was not a communist<\/strong>, which is the real reason for socialism's hatred of the victor of the Spanish Civil War.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If they really thought it was wrong that Franco was a dictator, the socialists would condemn other dictatorships much worse than Franco's<\/strong>, starting with the totalitarian regime of their friends the Chinese communists. But they don't. Let us never forget that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2023\/12\/19\/the-antidemocratic-attitude-of-historical-socialists-whom-the-psoe-still-claims\/\">Francisco Largo Caballero advocated a dictatorship when he was president of the PSOE.<\/a> This party has never rejected those words from its top leader during the Second Republic.
